Jacobs p.o.v

I hung up on Jess. I felt really bad, but I'm mad at the fact that she's always hunter, like he's not your best friend, Maggie is. I decided to ask hunter what's going on.

Jacob: So what's going on between you and Jess
Hunter: What do you mean
Jacob: you guys are always together, you're probably being a fucking flirt towards her
Hunter: What, you're the biggest fuckboi in magcon
Jacob: Hunter you know I like her what's your problem
Hunter: Yea already know that
Jacob: No you don't
Hunter: Yes I do, because if I didn't I would already be dating her
Jacob: What makes you think you can get her
Hunter: Because she kissed me. But I'm done fighting with you, and she's all yours. I'm sorry if me hanging out with her made you feel like that
Jacob: Whatever, screw you both, like I don't give a shit about you both, have a great time fucking her. Asshole
Hunter: Alrighty than, this is so stupid I'm done fighting like cmon you're my best friend.
Jacob: Well you have other priorities, so no time for a best friend
Hunter: Are you being serious

Hunters p.o.v
"Hey Jess, read this" I said giving her my phone. She read it over and her mouth dropped a little. "Oh my gosh, I feel so bad" she said picking up her phone and walking away. "Jess, it's okay" I tried comforting her. "Well Jacobs not okay, I know that for a fact, I really wanna fix this" she worried.

"Yea he's mad, maybe give him a while to take a breather" I suggested. "I'm just going to call him right now, it'll make me feel better for at least trying" she said.

Jess p.o.v

I called Jacob twice, no answer. I tried one last time, he answered. "Jacob" I called. "Yes" he answered annoyed. "Jacob, I'm really sorry, like there's nothing going on between the both of us and you know that-". "There's nothing going on between, you promise" he asked cutting me off. "Yes" I said feeling relief. "One question" he asked.

"Yes" I said waiting. "Did you guys kiss" he asked. I started to hesitate and I didn't know what to say or do. "Uh yea but it didn't mean anything" I said. "Ok, I'll talk to you later" he said. "Ok bye" I said hanging up. "Wait Jess, the kiss didn't mean anything to you" hunter asked. "Yea of course it did, I was the one who kissed you, I just don't want to fight anymore. I just said anything to fix this" I told him. "Yea ya I understand" he sighed. "I really do like you" I said looking at him. "That makes me happy" he smiled.

"Hunter, could you come here for a sec" his mom called from upstairs. So we both went upstairs so see what it was. "Could you go get some things for me from the grocery store, I have to take your brother to karate lessons (Ashton). "Yea sure" he said going to grab the keys from his mom. "Wait, wait can you be responsible, I'm counting on you, don't damage the car, drive safely, look out for-". "Yea, yea, nothing's changed, mom not to long from now I'll be doing this. I won't let you down" he smiled and we walked out. "

"Uh you never told me you had a Ferrari, convertible!" I said. "Yea it's my dad's summer car" he laughed. "Didn't know you were into cars" he pulled his eyebrows together. "Well kind of I guess" I said lifting my shoulders up. We got inside the car, I was pretty nervous. "You okay" hunter asked looking concerned. "Kind of nervous" I said trying to act like it didn't bother me. "Why" he asked. "Well ya know-". "Oohh I've done this many times, I don't really know all the rules but I'd say I'm an ok driver" he said driving onto the highway. I was now terrified, probably more than that. I turned on the radio to take my mind off of that.

We were on the highway for maybe 10-15 minutes. "Ok, you got the list right" hunter asked, parking near the grocery store. "Yup" I replied.

"First thing on the list, eggs" I said and we went through all the aisles to find it. "Next" hunter said. "Bread, whole wheat and white" I said. "Than we need chicken, pork chops. The last one is Kielbasa" I said and pushed the cart. We got everything else on the list and made our way to the cash.

"Okay your total is 64.28" the cashier said. "Uh debit" hunter said. "Okay just wait for it so say insert" she smiled. "Aw are you two a couple " she asked. "Oh, uh we're just friends" I told her. "With benefits" hunter said under his breath. I rolled my eyes and smiled. We put the bags in the cart and left. I ran with the cart and hoped on rolling through the parking lot.
