Chapter 43

Jacobs p.o.v

I was such a jerk to Jess. It took a lot of convincing but I convinced my dad to take little trip to Arizona, in case he did wanna end up moving there.

You know check the jobs, houses and areas. Make sure it's be suitable. But who knows if we'll end up moving here. I mean I do want to.

This would be the perfect opportunity to surprise Jess and apologize to her, in person.

The flight leaves in a couple of hours so we headed to the airport to get through all the lines. I was beyond excited to see Jess.

The flight took off and I fell asleep with a smile on my face.

***In Arizona**

We arrived in Arizona. It's so hot here. My dad called an uber so we could get to the hotel. The uber dropped us off there.

My dad said he has to sleep because he refuses to sleep on airplanes. It's a superstition of his. He said I could roam around. But not go to far. And Jess's new house was only around 10 minutes from where we were staying. Which was perfect.

I took a shower and got dressed. I called an uber since my dad was sleeping. I already called Maggie and told her I was here. She helped me plan this.

I first went to the store to get Jess some flowers and chocolate. Maggie had told Jess that they were going out for dinner although I'm actually taking her out for dinner.

I went to the store and got hers huge bouquet of roses with a huge box of chocolate.

I called Maggie on my way there.

Jacob: is she suspecting anything?
Maggie: no she's kinda down although but she's gona be really happy to see you!!
Jacob: i feel terrible. I'll see you soon Maggie thanks so much oh and do you mind taking pictures?
Maggie: I would be happy too!!

I ended the call with Maggie and was now at Jess's house. I was so excited. I knocked on her door. She opened the door she looked absolutely gorgeous.

(She was wearing a black romper with a kimono which had small patterned flowers. As for shoes she was wearing black flats with her hair straightened)

She looked up at me and she jumped on me while hugging me. "I missed you" she said getting down but still hugging me. I pulled out the bouquet of flowers and gave them to her. "Jess I was such a jerk to you I let my jealously take the best of me, so I'm here in person to say I'm so sorry and I totally understand if you don't forgive me" I said.

She covered her cheeks in her hands "I love you" she said giving me a kiss. "I
feel so bad, but Maggie and me are going out for dinner I mean I could ask her-" she said before I cut her off

That was just a cover so we could go out to dinner.

"Ugh you're amazing" she said.

We then left for dinner. "How long are you staying" she asked as we were walking hand in hand.

We decided to walk since it was a 5 minute walk. "Two weeks" I said. "Okay well we have to do something, everyday" she said and smiled, leaning her head on my shoulder.

We got to the restaurant and got seated. "Jacob you really didn't have to do all of this" she said looking at the menu. "Yes I did, I'm so happy I did" I said.
