Chapter 38

Jess's p.o.v
I ended up going to school after all. My mom and dad think it's really important for me to get a good education. So I got ready for school. I was wearing some light wash denim shorts and a brandy Melville top. I'm sorta obsessed with that store.

I called Jacob on my way to school.
Jess: hey Jacob I needa tell you something!
Jacob: what is it, is everything ok?
Jess: oh yea of course, just wanted to tell you that you're cute and we have to hang out soon before I move cause I miss you
Jacob: Jess you scared me, awe you're adorable lets get together this weekend, jess I miss you a ton holy, so what're you doing?
Jess: ugh walking to school, so I'll call you after see you!!
Jacob: talk to you lataaa

Jaocb was honestly so cute. I walked in dreading it.

Okay everything seems to be going good so far if I just ignore those people they can't do any harm.

"Hey Jess, did you buy all of those followers" this girl said. "She probably did I mean what would she be famous for" another said. "She doesn't even deserve it" another said. "What a waste" someone said. Before I knew it a bunch of boys and girls were standing in front of me saying these things.

"You guys are actually hilarious, instead of focusing on my life, why don't you focus on yours lol" I said and walked away. As I walked away I already knew they were saying mean things.

Maggie wasn't here today so I'm basically at school with maybe 5 or 6 friends. All of my friends are in different places. Hearing all those things made me wanna run away. I felt so weak. It wasn't like getting hate online. This was face to face.

It was now lunch so I sat down with, my friends, Olivia, Penny, Sara, Selena, McKenna and Summer. They were all super nice. We were talking about a math test we just had. "Guys I don't know about this one" I said. "Jess everything you say that you freaking get a 90%"  my Friend McKenna said. "Jess I'm so sad that you're leaving promise you'll come back to visit us" my friend Olivia said.

" oh yes of course I'll always come. Guys I'm so sad that I'm leaving imma miss y'all so much" I said and everyone started to laugh. 

I continued the rest if my day and we actually got to watch a movie today. That was so fun.

As the school bell rang I grabbed my book bag along with my purse. I reminded myself that week was almost over. It's currently Wednesday. I can do this.

I was walking out of school. Minding my own business I heard my name. So I walked over. Little did I know it would be those group of people. A girl pushed me right to the ground. "Oh where are all your fans now" a girl said. "What're you talking about she has none" a girl said and laughed. "Oh yea" a bunch of them said and laughed along.

They all walked away. I picked up my papers and books and dusted my self off.  Walked quite quickly down the stairs that took me out of school. All of a sudden the kids came running down throwing a open pack of apple sauce at me which went all of my hair and threw a tuna sandwhich at me. That went everywhere.

As I looked back one person stuck their foot out causing me to fall down two or three steps. My hand got a huge scrap on if. I held back my tears and was strong. Alothough I wanted to cry.

I walked in and called my mom and dads name. None of them were home. I dropped my all my stuff on the floor. I frantically called Jacob. No answer. I even tried Factimimf. No answer. I even tried FaceTime audio. No answer. I tried calling once more and still no answer.

I walked upstairs and got a cloth and started to clean up. I wiped the blood from my hand.

I saw that Hunter texted my In the morning. I didn't even see it. I don't know why but I facetimed Hunter.

He answered quickly. He answered excitedly. "Hey Jess! How was your day? He said. "Oh you know, not that bad" I said as my eyes watered. "No no Jess, what's wrong tell me you said you would" Hunter said now having concern in his voice.

I totally lost it. I broke down into tears. "Hunter I just don't know what to do anymore" I said. I was so embarrassed I never did this. I never cried over something like this.  "Oh my god I'm so embarrassed, I'm sorry" I said.

Hunters p.o.v
Jess totally just broke down. I felt so bad for her. Then she apologized for crying infront of me. She was so cute.

"Jess don't apologize for that okay, what happened" I asked.

"Everywhere I go and they see me, the call me names" she said.

"They push me down, and continue to call me names, staying I don't deserve all of the followers and that I buy them" she said.

"Today they physically pushed my down, threw food at me and pushed me down the stairs causing me to fall" she said crying.

"And honestly Hunter, I don't even know what I did so I don't know how to fix this or how to make it stop" she said.

"Jess, listen to me, some people hate to see others succeed, I know that these things are hard right now but you're strong and j know you of all people can get through this, whenever they call you names, ignore it remember that you're a strong, smart, wonderful, beatiful person and who ever doesn't see that is crazy. So many people love and adore you, so you can do this Jess I know you can." I said.

She smiled. She looked up at me with her blue greenish eyes. "Awe Hunter stop, you're actually one of the first people who actually listened, ugh I'm like really sorry again for like bothering you" she said kinda laughing as she looked down. "Jess, you never bother me" I said. "Ugh but I feel so weak and vulnerable" she said stroking her hair. "You can do this Jess I know you can and when you come to visit you can get away from it all for a few days" I said.

"Oh uh ya a few days" she said. "Hunter thank you" she said smiling. "I'll call you later" I said and hung up and went to sleep.
