Author's POV:
- Baekhyun -
Baekhyun lay lifelessly on the bed while the window let the sun peek in. The sky was a baby blue and the sun was like a sunflower. It was shining so bright and high in the sky. It was different from usual, but it was sweet. He closed his eyes for a bit and reopened them when the sun's rays tagged him on the face. The sky reminded him of the first day he met her. Eun Yeun. A sigh left his tired mouth. He hadn't been out of the room for a while and he knew that his members were worried, but they had other things to keep their minds on. The door opened with a tiny creak following behind. He didn't need to figure out who the latter was. "What made you wake up so early?" Baekhyun asked the man who was putting his jacket up on the rack.
"I wanted to ask you the same thing," Chanyeol replied as he plopped on his bed. Baekhyun's eyes watched Chanyeol and then back at the ceiling.
"I dreamt of her again." Baekhyun chuckled. "It's a bit crazy huh? She keeps coming back ever since she left my side." Chanyeol let out a hum so Baekhyun could know that he was still listening. Another sigh left Baekhyun's lips, "I miss her."
"Who? The dream girl or Yun?" He laughed. Baekhyun was lost in the moment. The ceiling seemed to intrigue him for some reason. The thing was that it was blank and boring.
"Both." Baekhyun kept staring at the ceiling that intrigued him. "The more I think about it, they're the same person. They had so much in common that it confuses me. Why didn't I hold on tighter to Yun? She was the real thing." Chanyeol got up from his spot and cleaned up the stuff on his side of the room.
"I think your dreams are getting to you, Baekhyun," Chanyeol said. Baekhyun let out a soft chuckle and let out a weak smile.
"I guess they are." He didn't agree to what Chanyeol said even though he agreed. It kind of hurt his feelings at the moment. Chanyeol finally opened the door.
"You're making me feel sad. You wanna eat anything before I get food to myself?" He asked before leaving the room. Baekhyun thought about it, he did want to eat, but he didn't feel like it.
"You've been seeing Yun secretly haven't you?" Baekhyun asked. Chanyeol paused before leaving the room. He closed the door and walked back to where Baekhyun could see him, but Baekhyun wasn't focused on him. He was focused on the weather outside that looked like it was ready to cry. I guess I didn't meet her on this day. He thought to himself. "I saw you last night at the bar with her. She seemed okay without me."
"When were you there?"
"Well, Suho went back on our plans to drink there and I didn't want to leave the place, so I stayed. I was there before you guys went inside together. Is she happy without me?" Baekhyun finally looked at Chanyeol, but Chanyeol was quiet for a moment as he stared at the latter laying on the bed. "Is she okay?"
"She's... she's happy, Baekhyun," Chanyeol finally replied. "She's happy she was able to move on. Really happy." Baekhyun let out a saddened smile. Chanyeol left the room quickly. He wasn't ready to talk about her or tell the secret he promised to keep. He wasn't even supposed to tell, but he knew that if he kept talking to Baekhyun, it'd slip out because he was weakened whenever Baekhyun was sad.
Baekhyun stared at the door that was closed shut like his heart. The thing was that Baekhyun already knew that she was gone. He knew that she would leave. He heard about her leaving at the bar. Chanyeol didn't need to tell him. There was no need. He also knew that Chanyeol woke up early to send her to the airport. Baekhyun's phone rang and he ignored it. It kept ringing wanting him to answer before it hung up. It was desperate for his answer, but he never answered it. He was busy thinking about Yun to care about the calls coming in. He kept thinking to himself. "Why didn't you wait for me?" He paused as he stared at the dark clouds already in their position to cry. "I wanted to go too." He finally got out of his bed and opened the window to see the sky more clear than from his bed. The sun had stopped shining for the darkness covered it. The clouds grew gray with sadness and all Baekhyun did was close his eyes and feel a soft wind coming in. He let it consume him until there was nothing left in his sad soul. Unknowingly, he felt a tear fall down from his face. This wind... this wind... my eyes just hurt from this wind... yeah... this wind. He thought to himself.
