Why did Evelyn want to be with me, I look at her as she sits at the counter. She has been depressed all week. I feel bad that she loves me but I cant show the same type of love to her. I love her, but not the way she wants me to love her. I walk over to her and she gets up and moves away from me. She doesn't even look at me and walks away.

I sigh great she hates me now. I don't mess with her and I just go outside to the front yard. I guess she was looking for me because she came out the front door and ran and hugged me. "Josh I'm sorry." she says starting to sob. "Sorry for what?" I ask. "I'm sorry I ignored you, I didn't mean to, I'm so sorry I love you please forgive me." She says still sobbing into my chest.

"Evelyn there's no need for me to forgive you didn't do anything wrong, and I love you too now go inside." I say releasing her from the hug. She then looked up at me with her big blue eyes. I wiped her tears away with my hand. I understand, and if your upset with me then you can be upset with me.

Evelyn then said "I not angry with you,  and I'm not mad at all. I'm upset." I looked at her and ask "Evelyn why are you upset?" Her eyes then began to water "You already know why I'm..." just then a spew of gun fire appeared out of no where.

I grabbed Evelyn and opened the door to the house and threw her inside. Then the assassin came toward me and pulled out a knife. He swung it at me and I blocked him and took it from him. I then grabbed him and spun him around, then taking the blade and slicing his throat with it.

The assassin grabbed at his neck gagging, gargling and he choked on his own blood. I turned around and Evelyn comes running out "Josh are you ok." I grab at my side and Evelyn's eyes get wide "Oh my god Josh your hurt." She screams as I walk into the house. "No I'm fine its just a little cut." I say. "Just a little your bleeding out she starts to sob again.

"Ill be fine as long as your safe." I say hugging her and ruffling her hair. "I'm fine, it's just that your hurt, and it hurts my heart to see you like this." Evelyn says bawling her eyes out into my chest.

"Evelyn don't worry I will be ok it's just a scratch." I say hugging her. Evelyn clenches my shirt, "No it's not just a scratch your bleeding out." She now looks in my eyes. Her eyes blurred filled with tears.

I hug her close as I stroke her hair she doesn't let go of me as she again hides her face into my chest.
