Joshua's Point Of View
Six years later:

"Daddy!" Our daughter Lilianna calls. I pick her up. "What's is it sweetie." I say holding her in my arms. "Can you play dress up with me?"  She says softly. "Sure Lilly." I say kissing her forehead then set her down.

I follow her upstairs and she pulls out a crown. It reminds me of when me and Evelyn used to play dress up. "Here daddy your the king and I'm you little princess daughter." She says giggling. I pick her up and cuddle her. " I love you princess." "I love you too daddy." She says snuggling her head in my neck.

"Babe." Evelyn calls as she walking into the room. "Awe look at you two." I walk over to her and kiss her lips. "Eww." Lilly giggles. "What you want one too?" I say chasing her as she screams "I'm the kissing monster." I say, as I catch her and smother her cheeks with kisses.

"Ok daddy! You win." Lilly squeals. She hugs my neck. "You're the best daddy ever." "You're the best daughter ever, but it's time for bed." "Ok daddy." She says hopping into bed. "Come on I'll tuck you in." Her mother says. "No I want daddy to tuck me in!" She squealed.

Evelyn shot me a look. "Since when are you the favorite." I shrugged my shoulders. "Daddy's always been my favorite. No offense mommy." Lilly says. Evelyn just laughed and kisses her forehead. "Goodnight sweetie."  "Goodnight mommy." Evelyn walks out of the room. I sit on the edge of her bed. "All snuggled in?" I say. "Yep." She smiles big and wide.

"Well then goodnight baby girl I love you." I say. "Goodnight daddy I love you too." She say kissing my cheek. I stand up and and walk out of what used to be Evelyn's room but now is hers. I close the door behind me.

Before I turn around I feel arms wrap around me. "Come on babe lets go to sleep." Evelyn says pulling me into the bedroom.

Evelyn's Point of View

The next morning I started on breakfast, I paused because I heard loud quick thumping sound on the stairs. I watch Lilianna run down the stairs. "Lilianna Christine, how many times have I told you not run down the stairs!" I scolded. "Sorry mommy." Joshua looks at her funny. "Sweet heart why do you have you good dress on?"

"Daddy you didn't forget did you?" She says looking shocked. "Forget what?" He says confused. "Our daddy daughter dance at school." She says sniffling. "It's at nine o'clock am." She continues. He looks at the clock and his eyes widen he scarfs down his food and run quickly upstairs. "Stop running in this house!" I yelled.

He comes back down the stairs ten minutes later in a nice shirt with a tie "I'm sorry baby girl. We still got time." He says grabbing her hand. "Have fun you guys." I say. "Bye mommy!" Lilly calls.
