Joshua's Point of View

I grabbed assault rifle a put a clip in it and cocked it back, and then set it on the dining table. "Josh? What are you doing?" Evelyn asked, I didn't answer as I picked up a pistol and loaded it and pulled the slide back.

Evelyn then walked over to me "Joshua, please don't do this." She said wrapping her arms around me. "Evelyn I have to do this other wise they won't stop coming for you." I pulled her arm from around me and continued putting my weapons together.

Evelyn then ran off crying, as soon as she did I set my knife I had in hand down and went upstairs into her room. I knocked on Evelyn's door and walked in. Evelyn was face down on her pillow sobbing.

I sat at the edge of her bed and the she sat up and she did too before she could say anything I hugged her tight "Evelyn I love you so much, The day we met I was already in love with you. You made my day better all those times we spent time together you and only you, will be the only girl in my life I told you before I will always protect you. You will always be my princess and I will die protecting you if I have to."

After that I release her from the hug a kissed her cheek "Evelyn it's time, this will end today." I say as I stand up and walk out of her room and back into the dining room. About twenty minutes later Evelyn came back down stairs.

"Joshua I want to thank you for all you have done, and I just want to say you will always be the love of my life my first silly childhood crush and my friend, without you I'm nothing. So if your going to do this, you better come back. Please I don't want to be heartbroken again." She said looking at the ground.

I walk over to her and lift her chin up, "You will forever be my best friend no friend has be as sweet, charming, adorable, and as beautiful as you. You are funny, fantastic, awesome, lovable, and sometimes stubborn, but you somehow keep me going, which is why I love you."

She then threw her arms around me and I let her sob into my chest. As I stroked her hair I knew she would be safe when I was ready to go in for the assault.
