She ran and danced in the forest with her only companions, laughing and howling along to their haunting songs.
It had been so long since she had heard another human's voice, so long since she had felt a mother's loving touch.
She thought she was happy, playing with the wolves and learning their ways but she felt so empty. How long would she last with their fast pace, not fully understanding them or their intricate language.
They could only walk with her for so long. Until her mind crumbled from lack of human interaction.
Her thoughts would tear through her head at not being able to express herself to those that would understand.
She would once again be left behind but this time for good, no pack to come save her and treat her back to her feet.
No, one the pack left her she would truly be alone.
And she was scared.
