Riding in a carriage being pulled by two pegasai pony guards that's heading on the path to Sweet Apple Acres, an alicorn pony with a pale-pink coat, a mane that is colored dark violet, moderate rose, and pale gold, dark purple eyes, and a crystal heart for her cutie mark named Princess Mi Amore Cadenza or just Princess Cadence was holding a brown basket big enough for a dog, and glared ahead of her very coldly. The carriage stopped, and Princess Cadence stepped off. She walked to the entrance to Sweet Apple Acres, and Applejack saw the princess, looked at Big Mac, and said "Princess Cadence!" "Howdy, Princess Cadence." Big Mac said as he walked up to her. "I want to see you and your wife right away." Princess Cadence said coldly. As they walked to their farm, Big Mac said "What's this all about?" "It's about Apple Bloom." Princess Cadence said. "Apple Bloom?" Big Mac asked. "Well, what has Apple Bloom done?" "What's she done?!" Princess Cadence asked. "I'm all but lame from the bite on my leg!" "You mean she bit you?" Big Mac asked. "No, her dog!" Princess Cadence snapped. "Oh, she bit her dog, eh?" Big Mac asked. "NO!" Princess Cadence yelled out.

In the living room, Applejack and Princess Cadence were seated while Big Mac just stood. Apple Bloom, and Winona just then entered the room. "That dog's a menace to the community." Princess Cadence said glaring at Winona. "I'm taking him to the sheriff, and make sure she's destroyed!" Apple Bloom's face paled in fear, and said "Destroyed?! Winona?! Oh, you can't! You mustn't! Auntie Applejack! Uncle Big Mac! You won't let her, will you?" "Of course we won't." Big Mac said. "Will we, Applejack.?" "Please, Aunt Applejack, Winona didn't mean to." Apple Bloom said. "She didn't know she was doing anything wrong. Ah'm the one that ought to be punished. Ah let her go in her garden. Ya'll can send me to bed without supper-!" "If you don't give the dog to me, I'll bring a damage suit that'll take your whole farm!" Princess Cadence snapped firmly. "There's a law protecting folks against dogs that bite!" "How would it be if she keeps her tied up?" Applejack asked. "She's really gentle. Well, with gentle ponies that is." "Well, that's for the sheriff to decide." Princess Cadence said as she took out an order form, and gave it to Applejack. "Here's his order allowing me to take him. Unless you want to go against the law."

Big Mac looked at the order form, and said "Uhh, eeyup." Applejack sighed, and said "Now, we can't go against the law, Apple Bloom. Ah'm afraid poor Winona will have to go." Princess Cadence nodded, and said "Now you're seeing reason." "No!" Apple Bloom said in fear. Princess Cadence took out her basket, and said "Here's what I'm taking him in, so she can't attack me again." "Oh, no, no!" Apple Bloom cried out in distress. "Ah won't let you take her! You go away, you...! Oooh, Ah'll bite you myself!" "Apple Bloom!" Applejack said scolding her niece. "You wicked old changeling!" Apple Bloom said ignoring her aunt. "Uncle Big Mac, Auntie Applejack, don't let her take Winona!" Don't let her take her, please!" "Here!" Princess Cadence said showing Apple Bloom the order form. "I've got an order! Let me have her!" "Stop her!" Apple Bloom cried out as Cadence tried to take Winona. "Put her in the basket, Big Mac." Applejack said as Big Mac took Winona from Apple Bloom. "The idea!" Princess Cadence said as she placed Winona in the basket. "Oh, don't, Uncle Big Mac! Oh, Winona! Don't..." Apple Bloom said, but she fell too late as Princess Cadence locked the basket. Apple Bloom tearfully looked at Applejack and Big Mac, and ran out of the room crying while Applejack got up from her seat, and looked after her niece.

She looked at Big Mac, and glared at Princess Cadence as she walked up to her. "Princess Cadence, just because you own half the country doesn't mean you have the power to run the rest of us!" Applejack said. "For twenty-three years, Ah've been dying to tell you what Ah thought of you! And now...well, being an honest earth pony, Ah can't say it!" She then ran out of the room in distress. Princess Cadence just stood there, scoffed, and walked out of the room while Big Mac sat in a chair feeling distressed and upset. Meanwhile, Princess Cadence was riding in her carriage to the sheriff's office. Little did she know Winona stuck her head out of the basket, looked around, jumped out, and ran back to Sweet Apple Acres. Back at the farm, Apple Bloom was on her bed crying her eyes out until she heard barking. She ran to her door, and opened it to see Winona who jumped on her, and licked her face while she laughed. "Winona, darling!" Apple Bloom said as Winona stopped licking her. She hugged her dog, and said "Oh, Ah got you back! You came back! Oh, Ah'm so glad!" Winona licked Apple Bloom again. "Winona!" Apple Bloom said as she laughed. She gasped, and said "Oh, they'll be coming back for you in a minute. We've got to get away! We've got to run away, and quick!" So, Apple Bloom packed her things in a small suitcase, then she and Winona quietly snuck out of the farm, and ran down the path to Ponyville.
