As they tip-toed their way through the hallway, Fluttershy immediately stopped as she trembled in fear, and said "Wait a minute, mares. I was just thinking. I really don't want to see the Unicorn this much. I better wait for you outside." "What's the matter?" Pinkie Pie asked. "Oh, she's just scared again, darling." Rarity said. "Don't you know the Unicorn's going to give you some courage?" Apple Bloom asked. "I'd be too scared to ask her for it." Fluttershy said. "Oh, well, then...we'll ask her for you." Apple Bloom said. They kept walking to the door, and they heard an echo as Fluttershy said "What was that?" "Our echo." Apple Bloom said. Suddenly, the Unicorn's voice rang out "What was that-that-that? Our echo-echo-echo."

Fluttershy started to bolt, but Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Apple Bloom quickly stopped her, and as they walked up to the door, Apple Bloom said "Oh, come on! Come on! We'll soon find the Unicorn!" "The Unicorn-The Unicorn-The Great and Powerful Unicorn of Discorded Equestria-Equestria-Equestria-Equestria-Equestria-Equestria-Equestria!" The Unicorn's voice rang out. Apple Bloom, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy reached the door, and it opened for them as the Unicorn's voice rang out "The Great Unicorn of Discorded Equestria! Come forward!" I want to go home! I want to go home!" "I am Trixie, the Great and Powerful!" The Unicorn of Discorded Equestria said as Apple Bloom, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy trembled in fear. "Who are you?!" Apple Bloom gulped as she said "I-If you please, Ah-Ah am Apple Bloom. The small and meek. We've come to ask you-."

Trixie interrupted Apple Bloom as she said "SILENCE!" "Ohhh! Jiminy crickets!" Apple Bloom said as she jumped a bit in fright. "The Great and Powerful Trixie knows why you have come! Step forward, Rarity!" Trixie said. Rarity gulped as she stepped forward, and said "Ohhhh, it's me!" "You dare to come to me for a heart, do you?!" Trixie asked. "You clinking, clanking, clattering collection of caliginous junk!" Rarity trembled as she said "Ohhhh, yes. Yes, miss. Y-Yes, your honor. You see, a while back, we were walking down the yellow brick road, and-." "QUIET!" Trixie said interrupting Rarity. "Ohhhhhh!" The tin unicorn said in fear. Trixie then looked at Pinkie Pie as she said "And you, Pinkie Pie, have the effrontery to ask for a brain?!" Pinkie Pie nodded as she shook in fear as Trixie said "You billowing bale of bovine fodder!" "Y-Yes! Yes, your honor. I mean, your excellency! I-I mean, your wizardry!" "ENOUGH!" Trixie roared out. She looked at Fluttershy as she said "Uh, and you, Fluttershy!" Fluttershy trembled in fear as she stepped forward, and Apple Bloom and Pinkie Pie said "Oh...oh...ohhhh!" "Oh...oh...oh!" Apple Bloom said as Fluttershy shook in fear. "You ought to be ashamed of yourself! Frightening her like that, when she came to you for help!"

"SILENCE!" Trixie said in anger. "Whippersnapper! The beneficent Trixie has every intention of granting your requests!" "What's that?" Fluttershy asked. "What'd she say?" "Oh-Oh, come on." Apple Bloom said. "Huh? What'd she say?" Fluttershy asked. "But first, you must prove yourselves worthy by performing a very small task!" Trixie said. "Bring me the crown of the changeling queen of the west!" "B-B-B-B-B-But, if we do that, we'll have to kill her to get it!" Rarity said. "Bring me her crown, and I'll grant your requests!" Trixie said. "Now, go!" "But-But what if she kills us first?" Fluttershy asked. "I SAID GO!" Trixie said as her face disappeared in a puff of red smoke, and Apple Bloom, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy jumped in fright.
