"F/N, you look beautiful as ever.~"

"Urusai,(shut up) Kei."

The blonde beside you chuckled. Your usual banter each morning. Tsukishima Kei never failed to annoy you every single day in school.

You massaged your forehead as you felt your head aching at his irritating presence. You started to stomped away from him and luckily, he didn't follow.

It became a habit of him. Ever since he had heard the rumors about you having a crush on him. And that was even years ago!

That stupid first year haven't even move on from that little infatuation you had for him back in middle school.

"L/N-san, is Tsukki bothering you again?" Yamaguchi Tadashi, Tsukishima's bestfriend approached you suddenly.

"Oh, Yamaguchi, could you just get that tall megane away from me? Even for just one day. I'd be so grateful." Y/N whined with frustration in her voice.

"I'm sorry for that... Tsukki never changes, that childish guy." He shakes his head disapprovingly, seems like he can't do anything about his bestfriend either.

"Let's go back to what I had to ask you..." Yamaguchi hesitated for a while.

"Go on." Y/N said and faced him.

"Do you, perhaps, still don't have a partner for tomorrow's dance?" He said, unsure if he should have asked that or not.

You furrowed your eyebrows at his question. "Are you... asking me to be your partner... Yamaguchi?"

"A-ah, no! That's not it... I, well, someone asked... Not me..." He mumbled a few words that you didn't hear clearly.

'Damn you, Tsukki.'

"Okay... I still don't have one, though." You smiled to ease the tension a bit.

"Is that so? Thanks, L/N-san!" He hurriedly walked away after.

"What's that all about?" Y/N whispered to herself.

Tsukishima held the small crumpled paper in his hand nervously. Just the thought of what he planned for that day makes him feel uneasy.

He wanted it to be special for Y/N. To be perfect.

"U-umm, T-tsukishima-kun?" The girl in front of him snapped his thoughts away.

"What?" He said, a bit rudely with his usual impatient and bored voice.

"I-i asked if we can go to--" He cut the girl, remembering their conversation before. "No, sorry."

"B-but you also said, y-you don't have a date!" She stuttered seemingly desperate.

'Another one of my pathetic fangirls. I dont even know her name,' Kei sighed and pretty sure his eyes rolled behind his eyeglasses.
