Charlie
"So, Charlie, what brings you here to Huntsville?" For the past twenty minutes Waverley has been giving me a tour of all the shops and go to hang out spots. The whole time we've been walking people have waved hello and even hugged Waverley. I guess everyone here knows each other by heart. That makes me happy for some reason.
"Well, my dad's old house was put in my name and I've always wanted to live in Washington, so... My heart brought me here." Waverley seems intrigued by what I said because she stops us and faces me.
"Your dad?" I nod slowly, I can already feel the tiny prickles in my eyes talking out loud about my deceased father. Please, I hope she doesn't ask what happened to him. "He owns the house your in and left it for you?"
"Yeah, I don't know why though, but I'm glad he did. I love it." Waverley studies me with her calculating green eyes. For a second I'm slightly uncomfortable by her hard gaze.
"Oh well, that's cool!" And then just like that, we're back to normal. I sigh in relief when she doesn't continue to ask about my father. I still have yet to get to that point where I can freely speak about my dad out loud. It still hurts even if it's only been four months. "So, you said you're looking for a job?" I'm snapped back to reality by Waverley's loud voice.
"Huh? Oh, yes." Waverley chuckles lightly.
"Hmm, I know the perfect place for you. Are you a people person?" I raise a brow at her.
"Yes?" Waverley shoots me her dazzling smile, taking my hand and rushing us to the direction of the supposedly 'perfect place'.
"Good! Because nearly everyone in towns comes here at least once a day. It's perfect for you." I couldn't help but giggle. I really do hope its the perfect place.
"What is it anyways?" I try and pull Waverley to a stop, but she keeps on going like I didn't even pull her arm. I can literally see my body flying to the floor if this girl doesn't slow down.
"It's our own personal Starbucks except its called Waverley's Corner." My eyes bulge out of their sockets.
"You own a shop?!"
"A cafe to be exact." She turns back to me with that million dollar smile and a hint of mischief in her eyes. I can't believe this girl.

Declan
"Oh dearest brother!" I let out a loud groan as I run my hands over my face. What now? "You will not believe what just happened!" Suddenly the door to my office is slammed open and in comes my dearest sister with my Beta right behind her.
"What, Waverley?" I growl. Is it so hard to ask for some peace and quiet? I have been uneasy ever since my beautiful mate moved in just a mile away from here and my wolf has not shut up about her. All he wants to do is just got to her but I can't. I can't yet.
"I met a certain someone." My sister sang, taking her usual seat in Jace's lap. Before I use to let my jealousy get to me, but now all I feel is the deepening anticipation to have my own mate in my lap. God, I can already image her perfect little ass fitting just right in my lap.
"Who?" I grunt out trying to rid those thoughts. For the mean time.
"Your mate." The pen that was in my hand easily snaps in two at the news.
"What?" I look up at my sister in total disbelief.
"Mhm, you heard me." I continue to stare at her waiting for her to get talking. The longer she just smirks at me the more impatient I get.
"Well! Spit it out!" I didn't mean to use an Alpha command but this was my mate! I have the right to know about her and her whereabouts.
"Okay, gosh, heel boy." I growl at my sister not in the mood for her jokes. Waverley rolls her similar green eyes. "I met her while walking around town. Your mate is quite the clumsy one." I couldn't help but smile at that.
"And?" My patience was running thin and Waverley was enjoying every minute of it.
"She's very cute with adorable blue eyes. Very short, definitely has amazing curves, which I just know you'll love." My sister winks at me making me let out a growl. I know she has curves, god does she have curves. I can't wait to scoop her all up in my arms and just fuck the- "Her names, Charlie." I shake away my thoughts.
"Charlie." I test her name on my lips. It taste just right. Speaking of tasting just right...
"Mhm, and I have her working for me at my shop." Slowly I watch Waverley stand up, taking a smirking Jace with her. "You should go and visit her, she's working right now. Oh but I gotta warn you," I narrow my eyes at my sister's actions as she nears the door, hand on the knob. "the big guns are out." For a second I'm confused as to what she means, before my sister motions to her chest holding her hands out.
"Waverley!" I let out a thundering growl, the room shaking. My Beta and sister run out of the room laughing their asses off. I completely forgot just how tight Waverley made her shirt uniforms just to tease the crap out of Jace when they first got together. My sister is going to pay for making my innocent mate wear such an exposing shirt.
No one is allowed to ever see my mate like that. I swear if I see just one unmated male looks at my mate, all hell is going to break loose.
I guess I'm going to get some coffee.
