Today I'm leaving Phoenix to go to college in Washington. It's closer to my dad. But first I'm spending a week with my dad in Forks.
I had already shipped my stuff to my dad's house so it be easier for me. Now all I had to do is just fly out there. Believe when I say I'm so happy to get out of here. I had no friends and never had a boyfriend. They bullied me and I thought this would be a new start for me.
My name is Isabella Marie Swan. I lived in Phoenix with my mother all my life. I am really clumsy. I'm not pretty well that is what all the kids say to me. I'm 5 ft 4 inches tall, I have long dark auburn hair that I always wear in a pony tail. My eye's are a deep blue color. I hate dresses. I don't have a reason to wear them so why bother. I don't wear make up all.
I chose to go to college to be closer to my dad. I missed him so much and I wanted a fresh start to my life. "BELLA IT'S TIME TO GO!" My mother Renee yelled from downstairs. I grabbed my bag and take one last look around my room before I walk out.
I finally had landed in Port Angeles. I work my way through the crowd to find my dad and there he is standing there in his police uniform. I get to him and hug him. "I missed you so much Bells!" He told me. "I missed you too dad." I told him. We go out to his cruiser and he informs me he has to go back to work as soon as we get home seems how it's only early afternoon.
Once there I sat up in my room and decided to hop into the shower. The hot water felt so good. The next day I come downstairs and I pour myself a cup of coffee and lean against the counter.
"So I thought you might like something to drive at college and to come home Whenever you want to being that you'll be a couple hours away in Seattle." My dad Charlie told me. I raise an eyebrow. Then my dad holds up a set up of keys in hands. A smile grows on my face and I snatch the keys out of his hands and ran outside.
There parked in the driveway was a black Ford 4×4 ranger. I squealed and ran for the truck. I love my trucks and dad knew it. I ran my hand across it. "I take it you like it?" He chuckled. "Like it, I love it, Thank you!" I told him.
I couldn't believe how fast the week went by and my dad helped me pack the truck up with my stuff and we stood there hugging each other one last time. "I want you to drive safe and call me tonight as soon as you get settled alright!" He told me. "I will dad I promise you."
After driving what seem like forever, I finally arrived at the dorms for the college. I knew I had a roommate but I wasn't sure of her name. I grabbed some stuff out of the back of my truck and made my way to my dorm room.
Once I got all my stuff in here I looked around and noticed my roommate had already moved in. I put my headphones in and turned on the music and went to work to start unpacking.
As I was into unpacking I jumped when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turned and looked. I saw a small framed girl, she was short and had long black hair. Her eye's were a greyish color. I pulled off my head phone and stood there.
"I didn't mean to scare you but I wanted to introduce myself. "I'm Alice Cullen and you must be Isabella Swan?" She reached out her hand for me to shake.
I looked down at her and was a little nervous about shaking her hand but I did take her hand and shake it. "Yes, But please call me Bella."
"Well Bella it's nice to meet you and just to let you know I have a twin brother. We don't actually look a lot though." She never told me his name but I didn't know why she found it in herself to tell me.
"Well I'm off. I'm going to meet everyone for lunch. Oh, would you like to come?" I shook my head no. "I need to finish unpacking and then I think I'm going to go for a walk." I told her. "Alright if you need anything just let me know." Alice said before she walked out the door.
