Coming to my senses

When I could hear the gunfire I realized I had to get down. I crawled into the kitchen and grabbed the cordless avoiding the gun shots. I crawled under the table and dialed the police station.

"Forks police department Officer Kevin speaking." He said. "Arrrgh! Kevin put my dad on now this Bella. Aarrrggh!" I told him in between screams.

"Hold on Bella!" You could hear the phone ringing off the hook. "Charlie we're getting hit with phone calls that your house is being shot at." I heard over the phone.

"That's strange because Bella on the phone sir." Kevin said. "Hand me that you idiot!" I heard my dad yell. "Bells what's going on were getting phone calls?"

"Arrggh! Daddy I'm scared there guns going off and bullets are coming into the house." Just then the picture window above the kitchen table shatters. "AAARRRGGGHH! HEELLPP ME!" I scream out. Just then the phone was shattered out of my hand.

"Time to move!" I crawled back into the living room and grabbed my cell phone from out in front what use to be our big huge picture window. I got behind my dad's chair and called Edward.

"Hey baby I was just about to call you." He told me. "Aarrggh!" Was the only thing I got out. "Bella why are you screaming and what is that noise?"

"HEELLP! There shooting at the house." I cried out. Then I heard a thunk and something roll. I peeked from around the chair and saw what look like a bomb. I quickly crawled over to it and picked it up and crawled as fast as I could away from the window and got up high enough to throw it back out and I quickly ducked back down and covered my head just as it blew up.

I started screaming for all this to stop. I couldn't stop screaming. It was just too much. I finally stop screaming and just stayed where I was. I felt a hand on my arm and looked up to a stranger.

I quickly scooted away from him and backed into a corner. "Hey Charlie found your daughter but she won't let me near her." I seen my dad walk in and hurry over to me.

"Go finish checking the house to make sure it's clear. Hey baby girl it's alright. It's over for now." He told me and I grabbed ahold of him as tight as I could and he scooped me up and carried me out of the house.

"Is she alright Charlie?" I heard Edward ask. "From what I can tell nothing serious." My dad told Edward. I tugged on my dad's jacket and he looked down at me. "I need him dad!" Was all I said and my dad gently handed me over to Edward. I buried my face into his chest. "Take her to your dad's house have him check her over will you. Get her out of here for now."

I felt Edward gently set me in the passenger side of my truck and fastened my seatbelt up before he got in and drove to his parents house.

When we got there Edward carried me up to his room and gently set me down on the bed. Edward gently cups both sides of my face. "I'll be right back I'm just going to get my dad." I just nod my head and he gently kisses my forehead and walks out.

I gripped the edge of the bed gently rocking myself back and forth. I feel like I'm ready to explode and I'm just on the edge of it. When I hear a loud noise and that's what set me off and I stand up and I had to hit something and it ended up being the wall.

Anything that was in my path went flying. When I picked up the chair I aim for the window. "AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHH! WHY ME DAMN IT. WHY!" I screamed out in anger and being so upset as the chair went through the big window and shattered.

I fell to my knees. "WHHY DAAMNN IT?" I screamed out and I felt arms wrap around me. I gripped until his arms as tight as I could. "I don't understand this Edward why me? I didn't do anything to them."
