Then I heard a gunshot. I gasped. "Noo!" I hurried and tried to find a way out. I had to crawl and feel around. "WHERE IS SHE?" I heard someone yelled out.

"SHE'S NOT HERE ASSHOLE!" No, no, no dad please don't make this worse. I thought and felt if I grabbed my phone and I did. I was going to call Edward's phone I couldn't chance a text.

I hit dial and then I heard a phone ranging. My eyes widen because that wasn't Edward's ring tone. "She's calling!" I heard a voice say. "Text her back quick and tell her he in class or something." I shut my phone off. But then I held off on it and waited.

unknown number: Hey baby I'm in class right now.

Bella: Oh I just wanted to know if you wanted to meet me for lunch after. I'm done with my dance sessions? Today the teachers are pushing me. I'm already sore.

I nodded after I sent the text.
"She at school guys." The voice said. "Your lucky old man." Then I heard another gunshot and my dad scream out in pain. I quickly covered my mouth so I didn't scream. Tears fell from my eye's.

I heard the door and then a vehicle drive off. "BELL'S THEIR GONE!" I heard my dad yell out. I found a small door and started kicking it. It took many times to get it open but I did and I found myself outside. When I looked it was a crawl space under a section of the house.

I quickly ran into the house and my dad was laying on the floor. "DAD!" I screamed out as I ran to him. "I'm alright!" He told me. "But you been shot dad!" He cupped the side of my. "I need your phone dad!" He hands it to me.

I called 911 first and then I called Edward and he answered. "Oh thank god it's you." I told him. "Bella what's going on why are you on your dad's phone?"

"Because when I used my phone all it did was go to them. Dad been shot Edward. I need you to be careful because they might show up there."

"Oh god Bella are you alright, is your dad alright?" He asked. "I'm find. I woke up in the stupid crawl space." I glared at my dad and looked and I was dirty. "My dad though he's ok for now. But not after he gets home from the hospital he won't be."

My dad gave me innocent eyes. "Oh stop dad your not innocent so get that look off your face." I heard Edward chuckle. "Edward Cullen so not funny right now." I told him. "Ok my mouth is zipped!" Edward said.

The ambulance took my dad to the hospital as Edward pulled into the driveway. As soon as he stepped out of the car I ran up to him and wrapped my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around me. Then he pulled away and looked at me.

"Don't you there say it Edward Cullen. I already had a bad morning." He puts his hands up. "I won't! But you do need a shower." I rolled my eyes and then squealed when Edward picked me up like a sack of potatoes. "I can walk Edward."

He just chuckled up until he got into the house and froze. He sat me down and I looked to where Edward was looking and it was my Dad's blood on the carpet.

I walked into our room and froze. That first gunshot was on my side of the bed and I finally turned and ran out of there as fast as I could. I ran right into Edward and wrapped my arms around him as tight as I could.

"Bella what is it?" He asked me and all I could do is point our bedroom. He let go of me and walked into the bedroom. I heard him hit the wall and then I watched as he walked out of our bedroom and his face expression was beyond furious. He walked by me and right out the front door slamming it behind him and I jumped.

Then I heard him squeal his tires. "Shit, shit shit!" I said as I ran back into our room and grabbed my keys and wallet. I picked up my dad's phone and tried to call Edward but he wouldn't answer. "Damn it!" I scrolled through my phone and found Jasper number.
