There was a flag of japan on my bed the next morning.

Buti nalang wala na si Knox nung nagising ako. I hope di niya napansin, sana natakpan ng kumot. Ugh! Nakakahiya! Kaya pala ang sensitive ko masyado kagabi.

Tumayo ako at inalis yung cover ng kama, lalabahan ko nalang 'to mamaya. I went inside the bathroom and checked myself in the mirror, white shorts pa naman suot ko!

Kinuha ko yung nakasabit na towel sa gilid at dumiretso na sa shower. Di ko talaga alam na magkakaroon na pala ako, meron kasi akong period tracker app sa phone ko na nagreremind sakin. It's not accurate but it reminds me a day or two before my actual period kaya naaanticipate ko.

Obviously, I don't have my phone now. Di ko nga alam kung saan na yun napunta, last I remember it was dead batt when I needed it the most -- that night in the dark alley.

After I showered, I put on my clothes and that's when I realized I have a big problem. Tinuloy ko nalang ang pagbibihis tapos ay dumiretso ako sa baba.

Naabutan ko si Knox na nasa living room, abala sa laptop niya.

Saglit siyang tumigil sa pagtatype at bumaling sakin. "Goodmorning, breakfast ka na."

"You cooked?"

"Omelette lang, nagtabi ako para sayo." I smiled timidly.

"Okay." He faced his laptop again. "Uhm, Knox?"

"Hmm?"

"Can you do me a favor, please?"

Tumingin siya sakin at nilapag muna yung laptop niya sa tabi.

"What is it?"

"Can you buy me pads?"

I waited for his reply. Nakita ko ang pagkunot ng noo niya hanggang sa manlaki ang mata niya sa sinabi ko.

"You've got your period? Shit." He was red.

"Yep, at medyo masama narin pakiramdam ko. I'll just take some pain reliever. Kaso kailangan ko talaga ng pads."

"I'll buy it." He mumbled. Kinuha niya yung car keys sa center table at dire-diretsong lumabas ng pinto without even glancing at me.

Okaaay, that went well.

Kinain ko yung omelette na niluto niya for breakfast. It actually tastes good, props for him. I took a pain reliever pagkatapos dahil sumasakit na yung puson ko. I have dysmenorrhea and it's really bad.

While waiting for Knox, kinuha ko yung bed cover ko at dinala sa washroom. I was about to put it to the dryer ng marinig ko ang pagtawag ni Knox sakin.

I grabbed a towel and put it around my midriff just in case na may tagos na pala ako. I went downstairs and saw Knox holding lots of plastic bags. Bakit ang dami?

"Hey, uhm, di ko alam kung anong gusto mo. There were wings, cottony, ah fuck! Basta marami, I don't know what to get so I just picked one of each." Mabilis niyang inabot yung plastic sakin habang namumula.

"Thanks." I mumbled.

"I also bought you ice cream, sabi kasi ng cashier this helps too. May movies din dito, and pizza's on its way." He gave me the plastic full of CDs tapos ay dumiretso sa ref para ilagay dun yung ice cream.

I was speechless. He's so thoughtful, hindi ko alam na may ganitong side pala si Knox. Pagkabalik niya sa living room, I flung myself at him.

"Thank you!" I hugged him tight. Natouch talaga ako. Yeah, some of my past boyfriends did this too pero kung di ko pa sila sinabihan, di pa nila gagawin. First time 'to, and I really appreciate it.
