I woke up with a headache.

Hirap akong makatulog kagabi, di ko alam kung may insomnia na ba ako. All I remember last night was my body wanted to sleep so bad pero yung diwa ko gising.

I even vaguely remembered that the door creaked when I was about to fall asleep.

Napatingin ako sa lalaking nasa harap ko, kumakain ng niluto kong fried rice and tapa.

"Knox, pumasok ka ba sa kwarto ko kagabi?"

I saw confusion in his eyes. He took a sip of his coffee first before he answered, "No, why?"

"Ah wala, nevermind." Maybe it was just a dream. Imposible namang may multo sa kwarto ko. I got goosebumps just thinking about it, I'm deathly afraid of anything paranormal.

I tried to think of something else to ease my mind at pinagpatuloy na lang ang pagkain ng breakfast.

I stared at Knox when he suddenly clutched his head.

"Headache?" He nodded. Napansin kong malamlam ang mga mata niya, mukhang kulang din sa tulog ang isang 'to.

I stood up and went to grab the medicine kit. Kumuha ako ng dalawang pain reliever, tig-isa kami ni Knox.

"Here." Inabot ko sa kanya yun and he immediately took it.

Ininom ko yung gamot then turned to him. "What's our agenda for today?"

He raised his eyebrows at me. "I have things to do while you on the other hand," he pointed at me, "need to stay here."

"What? Di ako pwedeng sumama?"

"Nah, it's too dangerous." Sabi niya habang ngumunguya.

"Saan ka ba pupunta?"

"Confidential."

"Tss." Sa dami na ng nalaman ko, ngayon niya pa sasabihin sakin na confidential ang pupuntahan nya.

"Mabobored lang ako dito." I whined.

"My men are guarding outside, di ka naman mag-isa."

"As if namang mayayaya ko silang magmovie marathon or mamasyal sa labas. I can't be friends with your goons."

"Subukan lang nila, I strictly told them not to go inside the house lalo na kapag mag-isa ka lang."

I just rolled my eyes. Di talaga ako mananalo sa lalaking 'to.

"Okay, I'll just stay here. Pero saan ka ba talaga pupunta?"

"I'll be with Greg." A thought suddenly crossed my mind, I wiggled my brows at him.

"You'll be with him the whole day?" I asked with a hint of teasing.

"Yeah, may kailangan kaming asikasuhin sa headquarters."

"Ahh, matagal na kayong magkakilala?"

"Yes." He turned to me, "what's with all the questions?"

I shrugged. "Wala lang, you guys are really close. Kung di ko lang kayo kilala, I'll think there's something going on between the two of you." I said with a straight face.

"What the fuck, Paige?" Muntik na niyang mabuga yung kinakain niya. I'm laughing inside.

"What? Uso naman yun di ba? Bromance?" I innocently looked at him.

"Are you implying I'm gay?" He's so red! I wanna laugh but I kept a straight face.

"What's wrong with being gay? I have gay friends. Okay lang Knox, people nowadays are very openminded." I tapped his shoulders.
