You're My World

The world in which we call home

Has this inexplicable allurement.

To attempt explaining in words

Is to convey a sorry facade.

No, I can't portray in only words

The enchantment our eyes meet.

My vocabulary lacks sufficiency

Missing eloquence and articulation.

The purpose behind this composition

Is not appreciation of beauty here.

I expressed my inability formulating

Words to describe an emotion within.

What caused me to produce this

Was to help you better understand.

My heart swells when I see you

And explodes when you look back.

No matter the effort I put in

Or the hours I spend thinking.

You are just like Earth baby

Your perfection is indescribable.

Baby, you're my whole world

And I needed to confess my reason.

How do I put down on paper

My sole reason for staying alive?
