I pledge allegiance,
To the flag,
Of the United States of America,
And to the Republic,
For which it stands,
One nation under God...
But is it really under God?
Or those who deem themselves worthy,
To speak the word of God?
One nation,
United by its people,
Is not truly united.
It is flawed,
Ruled by those who can't accept,
Can't see the truth.
They say its a sin.
That Hell awaits those,
Who's hearts are different than others.
Do they not love like you?
Do they not deserve happiness like you?
It is not a choice,
Made to spite others.
It is warmth.
It is attachment.
It is devotion.
It is simply love.
With liberty,
And justice,
For all.
