(Y/N) likes being different. She liked that all the other kids were scared of her. She loved watching then attempt to avoid her, watching then squirm from being too close to her. Yes, (Y/N) loved to scare others. But she also liked to make them smile. To laugh so hard they double over, it made her feel good. But others didn't seem to like her jokes. Her mother, Diana (l/n), had screamed when she gave her a dead squirrel and yelling 'That was do nuts of you momma!'. (Y/N) didn't get it. Couldn't they take a joke? She guessed not. They people that dressed classy were worried about her jokes. But that didn't matter, who cares what those guys had to say anyways?

But (Y/N) couldn't make any puns today, because her father, James (l/n), was to be expected at a local rich guy party with his family. She didn't like that they made her swap her fun outfit for a boring black and white dress, but because she was promised sweets she didn't argue much.

So here she was, (H/L) (H/C) fluffed with annoyance at her parents for denying her request for a cookie off the snack table. That's what snack tables were for darn it! But something else caught her attention, a back door was open! She could escape this boring place! (Y/N) didn't waste anytime in racing to the exit, happily swing open the door and taking steps away from the dumb place of black and white clothes. She didn't have her eyes open, so when she walked straight into a pant leg and fell on her bum she wasn't that surprised. Opening her big (e/c) orbs she looked up at the person. He had green hair , white face paint, dark circles around his eyes and red lipstick making a giant smile on his face.

"Sorry for walking into you sir!" The child apologized. The man looked to smile wider and nodded at her, "No harm done little one. Were are you off to? Shouldn't you be in there with your parents?" (Y/N) frowned and shook her head. "It's so boring in there! And my birth family won't even give me a cookie!" Her face contorted in a pout, and the man chuckled. "What's your name doll?" He asked her, crouching down to her level. "I'm (Y/N), what's yours?" She replied sweetly. His eyes were auburn. "Joker!" He laughed, and she thought it was a cool name.

"Well I'm about to crash this party, wanna help me kiddo?" He grinned. (Y/N) eyes lot up and she nodded excitedly. Crashing the boring party? Sounds like fun! "What do you want me to do?" She asked enthusiastically. "Get their attention kid!" She saluted and turned around, grinning ear to ear. Get their attention? She LOVED attention!!

-jokers pov now-

He chuckled watching the (H/C) hair girl race to do as he asked. It was nice to see someone who has as much excitement as him, even if it was from a kid.

And sure enough, about thirty seconds later a loud crash came from the other room along with a scream. He opened the door, and-

Nearly doubled over laughing at the sight before him. (Y/N) had taken a leg from the snack table and was hitting a man in the knees with it. She looked over at him when he laughed and joined in while hurting the guy. 'Yes,' joker decided, 'thus kid is great.'

-after the whole fight thing cause I'm too lazy to do it-

Jokers smile was probably the widest he could make it. (Y/N) had happily helped him with taking things from the party, and she seemed perfectly content with watching him shoot at the batman. Sure, he could use her for cover from him, but he liked it when she called the dark knights next move. Now they were speeding away in the getaway car, the two crazies were giggling like mad. "Your fun Joker!" (Y/N) laughed, "can I go with you?" He hummed at the thought. She was rather fun, and besides, batman had a sidekick so why shouldn't he? She was young but liked to do the same things as him. And it seemed as long as he didn't deny her sweets (one of his guys swore they saw her stab someone when they blocked her path to the cookies) she seemed to listen to him perfectly. "Eh, why not kid. Welcome to my own party!" They both let out loud deranged laughter.
