Chapter 14

---Kiyomi---

I let out a sigh as I made my way through the hospital halls.

I still don't quite remember the way, I mean come on, I’ve only been here once. I thought but was cut off when I heard yelling. Okay yeah that's defiantly them. 

I let a smile cross my face just at the thought of the two. 

Once I reached the door with all the yelling, I smiled before opening the door yet the two didn't even react.

"Far out!" yelled Akari. "You're being such a dick!"

"Fucken hell Akari!" snapped Rei. "Just calm the fuck-"

"Don't you tell me to calm down!"

"Umm... guys..." I started but they didn't even glance my way.

"Can't you just listen to me for once!" yelled Rei who was sitting up in his bed, frustration written all over his face.

"Maybe if you said something fucken productive I could!"

"Guys?"

"SHUT UP KIYOMI!" they both snapped glaring at me.

I widened my eyes while snapping my body back, leaning away from them. After glaring they looked back to each other, like they were about to go back to yelling again until they stopped and looked back at me.

"Kiyomi?" they both questioned and in a split second, I was being crushed in one of Akari's bone crushing hugs.

"Kiyomi!" she cried. "You're finally back!"

"Y-yeah... it's g-great... to see... you too." I choked out attempting to hug her back but I couldn't really move until she pulled out of the hug and sent me a huge smile. 

"I missed you! Heck did you only just get back now? How was your training? Did you find the sensei you were looking for? Did-"

"Jezz. Maybe if you didn't drown her with questions she might be able to tell us." mumbled Rei who had just interrupted Akari.

Oh shit... I think I've appeared the perfectly wrong time. 

"What did you just say?" asked Akari as she slowly turned her head to face Rei and from what I can see, she is giving him the scariest of glares.

"I said-"

"SO!" I started interrupting the two as I walked over, standing between them and breaking up the fight. "How are you guys? Anything interesting happen while I was gone? And where's Mariko-sensei?"

"Right here," said a voice that appeared from the open widow.

"Sensei!" I said with a smile, pretending I hadn't seen her yet since I actually saw her last night when I got back.

Oh yeah.. that’s kinda awkward...

---flashback---

I sighed as I made my way into the apartment. 

I can sense Mariko-sensei just inside, I hope she's not like too mad or anything..

I opened the door, seeing the lights off, the room was still the same, clean but empty. 

I take it Akari is probably staying at the hospital with Rei. Maybe-

But my thoughts cut off as the lights switched on, causing me to snap my head around only to see Mariko standing next to the light switch. Her back leaned against the wall and her arms were folded across her chest.
