We arrived back at the care home within 20 minuets. It was bland, plain, simple... I didn't like it at all.

"Come on sweetie, I'll show you to your new room. I'll get Joshua to come and bring your bags up for us" Julie ushered me inside the building.

We began to walk up the flight of stairs which where to the left of the hallway, which led on to the lounge, dinning area and kitchen, 'playroom' room and the back hallway which led to the gigantic garden.

As we reached the third floor (a converted attic) Julie showed me to the door of room 8. I slowly opened the door to reveal yet another bland room. White walls, cream carpet, a wooden dresser, a mirror, crisp white bedding and a single photograph of a leaf skeleton above the bed.

There was a window which took up most of the furthest wall, and a window seat. In any other circumstance I would be overjoyed with the room - a queen sized bed, huge window and a window seat - however, my excitement about the room never seemed to arrive..

"This will do for now I hope," Julie comforted me, " we can always think about re-decorating and making it more homely."

"Thank you," I murmured, "I think I'm just going to go to bed if that alright?"

"Of course Hun. Joshua is just bringing your case up and then we will leave you in peace."

"Thank you."

After about 5 minuets Joshua arrived in the doorway to my room. I wasn't in the mood for chit chat so I grabbed my case, thanked him, smiled and then shut the door. I rummaged all around my case and found my pyjamas.

After I had changed and brushed my teeth I crawled into my huge, newly washed bed.
