Chapter Eight- Crib Time

Grace Pov

I went to the store and told a worker what happened and she led me around the store pointing out everything I would need. She wished me good luck and left me to pay for the things. I couldn't help but think maybe this is what Alice needs to help her come out of her shell. I was excited because I love babies and who knows it might be fun having her around.

When I got home I couldn't help but smile, I'm glad she came out and at least looked at the baby. Little Bell has the same grey eyes and and brown hair as her and definitely could pass off as her baby. I made Bell a bottle and went over and picked her up. I looked at Alice and asked "wanna try feeding her?" she seemed to stare at me a bit, I could see her fighting her emotions before she finally won and shook her head no.

I know I've got to give her time to accept everything. One thing I really wanna talk to her about is her Ex-husband! Hell I didn't even know she was married!!! I guess she might be straight after all, I could feel something heavy drop in my heart. Wait she did almost kiss me a little bit ago and I couldn't help the heat from rising to my cheeks. I took a quick glance at Alice who had been watching me the whole time. She had an eyebrow raised and her arms crossed, like she knew what I was thinking!
I quickly looked away and finished feeding the baby.

I looked down into those sweet grey eyes as they were fluttering closed. "We should set up the crib." Alice said from behind me. She was looking down at us with an unreadable expression. We locked eyes and just stared for awhile, she seemed to be gazing into my soul, before she turned away. I softly set AnaBell down on the couch, kissing her head softly.

"Okay sweetie lets set this up fast." I whispered to Ally who nodded walking into the spare room between ours. I followed behind my eyes falling into her butt, damn she looked hot in sweatpants! I smiled to myself before running into something snapping me out of my daze. My eyes went wide as I peered into that intense gaze. Alice stood there smirking before she said anything.

"Grace honey if you spent less time checking out my ass and more time watching where you were going you'd realize when people stop in front of you!" she winked before trying to open the crib box. I felt my cheeks flush up and I quickly walked to the other side of the room to make way for the new crib. I could hear her beautiful voice giggling behind me.

After a short while the crib was up and standing, thought it was going to be a lot harder then what it was. I smiled at my handy work as I put the baby in the crib. "night little darling," I whispered stroking her tiny cheek. I made my way out of the room to find Alice, I didn't see her standing around so I walked into her room stopping dead in my tracks my jaw falling slightly open.
