Chapter Ten- Loosing up

Graces Pov

The sun pouring in caused me to wake up much earlier then I usually do. Who opened my curtains I like my room dark! I went to move when I felt a weight on my chest. My eyes burst open as the memory of last night flooded into my head. I look down at Ally who was sleeping peacefully on my chest with dried tear streaks on her pretty little face. I brushed some of her hair out of the way before placing a kiss on her temple. I went to move out of her bed but she groaned and gripped me tighter, "Ally sweetie I got to go take care of the baby and I have places to go!" She mumbled something before rolling over.

I slipped out of her bed and made my way to the babies room. I smiled as I looked over the plastic rail into those eyes. "Hey sweetie are you hungry?" I cooed to the little Bell. She smiled and reached her tiny arm out to me making some baby noise. "I take that as a yes," I laughed picking her up. I quickly changed her diaper and clothes before going into the kitchen to get her bottle.

I fed her and placed her in her bouncy chair. Taking one last look at Bell I started cooking us some breakfast before I left for work. I got so into my cooking I didn't realize Ally got out of bed and was in the kitchen. I turned around slightly and saw Ally bent over talking to Bell. I wasn't moving afraid to let on that I caught her, like when your face to face with a wild animal afraid that if you move you will chase them away. So I resumed to my cooking, once I was finished I turned around and my jaw hit the floor.

Alice's Pov

I looked up to see Grace just staring at me wide eyed! Is it really that surprising that I picked up the baby?!?! I looked down into familiar eyes, the smile that formed on her face just melted my heart. For being so young she's a good, quiet, smiley baby. I looked into Grace's eyes, "how do I take care of this thing while your gone?"

A huge smile formed on her face, and she ran over and hugged us, squealing like a little girl who got a pony! "Settle down tiger I just don't wanna be charged with murder while your gone!" The smile never faded as Grace explained everything from when and how much to feed her to what time to put her to bed. She then went on about how babies need a lot of socialization to grow up healthy, and about how babies minds develop. Who knew I let a psychology buff live with me!

After Grace left to do only god knows what, I sat on the couch with the baby. "Bell honey, I'm just going to tell you now I hate your mother!" She just looked at me smiled. I set her on the floor while I did some cleaning. I looked back at her and Rex was sitting front of her licking the milk off her face. "Not you too Rex!" I cried. He looked at me before walking off. I can't believe I'm being out numbered in my own house!
