Alice's POV

The morning came way too soon. I groan before sticking my head under the covers snuggling up to the warm body next to me. Grace started moving and I wrapped my arms tighter around her waist. "good morning gorgeous," she mumbled pulling the blankets off my head. I reached for the blankets but she pulled them out of reach.

"You gotta wake up for working darling," Grace mewed while stretching. I grumbled rolling over and grabbing my phone. And quickly dialed my works number, my boss answered. I told him I wasn't coming in today for personal reasons and I hung up the phone.

"Taken care of, "I growled rolling back over into Grace causing her to giggle. I started to fall back asleep again, when I felt Grace start to move. She leaned over me being careful not to "wake me" reaching for my phone. I didn't move, pretending to still be asleep as she started dialing someone.

"Yeah, I won't be able to make it in today Belle got sick last night and we took her to the hospital so we didn't get home till really late. Alright thank you love," said into the phone. She hung up and dialed another number I waited a few seconds before I heard my mom's voice on the other side "I won't need you today Tammy, Alice and I are staying home with Belle. Yeah she's doing fine she didn't wake up at all last night. Alright I'll call you if anything changes love you too bye." She hung up the phone before placing it back on the bedside table. She got back under the covers, pulling me close snuggling into my hair. She kissed my head and started stroking my cheek.

When I woke up it was noon and Grace wasn't in bed. I crawled out evaluating the living room. Grace sat on the couch watching TV with Bella sleeping in her arms. I look over to find Rex crawled up on the side of her "traitors," I growled quietly. Grace turned around flashing me her award-winning smile patting the seat next to her. I made my way over softly dropping down on the couch making sure I didn't wake Belle. Grace took her free arm and wrapped it around my shoulders pulling me in for a long kiss. I couldn't help but smile when she pulled back grinning at me from ear to ear. "Goodmorning beautiful how did you sleep?"

"Wonderfully," I replied before giving her a quick peck. I ended up cuddling into her side as we watched the news. My stomach started rumbling, so I went to the kitchen to get something to munch on. When I came back the living room was empty and quite, I looked around unable to find Grace or Belle. All of a sudden I felt somebody grab me from behind with a hand over my mouth, I struggled against them unable to get away. They shoved me face down onto the counter and a growl in my ear.
