Chapter 14

Grace Pov

I went into work early that day because I needed someone to talk to. The moment Kelsey saw my face she hurried over and put her arm my shoulder. "what's wrong sweetness?" I looked at her and spilled my guts. She just links at me wrapping both her arms around my small frame.

"Sweetie, I think she's scared. With what you told me she seems to want you but with what her ex did I think it's hard for her to trust somebody again. I think that's why she keeps changing her mind." Kelsey replied thoughtfully. That really does make since I to myself. I smiled up at her giving her a hug.

"Thank you, that actually really help." I smiled. She patted me on the back and I pulled out of the embrace, heading off to the back to get ready for work. When I got out my eyes lit up with joy, there stood Ally's mom with little baby Belle. I ran over and placed a bunch of little kisses all over Belle's face. "Hey Tammy," I smiled as Anabell giggled at my kisses.

"Good morning darling," Tammy smiled handing over little Belle. I looked down at Belle's beautiful face as Kelsey and her girlfriend run over to see the baby. After the girls were done cooing I handed Anabell back.

"Thank you for bringing her here." I thank Tammy.

"No problem dear it's the least that I can do for all your help with the baby and with Ally." Tammy smiled. I looked up and she had a knowing smile on her face. Some more customers came in so I had a get back to work real quick. I gave Tammy a hug and baby Belle a kiss on the forehead before returning to work.

Ally's POV

Work was really stressful, and when I got home nobody was there. I'm really starting to wonder where Grace goes during the day and sometimes the night. It's not like she has a car or anything so that means she has to walk. I change into some comfy clothes and plopped down on the couch, grab the blanket wrapping it around me and just think. Last night was really amazing and I really like Grace but I'm scared. There's this feeling inside my heart that she's going to leave like everyone else does.

I didn't realize how lonely I was until Grace started staying gone all day now I don't even have the baby to keep me company because she's with my mom. I walk over to the kitchen and decide to make something for lunch. Just as I start, Grace and my mom walked in the door with baby Belle. "hey mom are you staying for lunch?" I ask. Her face is full of shock, maybe it's from me being a decent person with her but she just smiles at me.

"Sure honey, what are you making?" She asked. I just smiled and shook my head it's going to be a secret, so I shut the kitchen door and started cooking. I raided my kitchen for everything that I would need for this amazing lunch I decided to make. Not too long after I started cooking I heard the door open and close, but there was just silence. I turned around and saw Grace sitting on the counter just staring at me.

"This smells really good Al," she fake smiled. I could tell it was a fake smile, and by the look on her face she looked really upset. I smiled at her walking over to her and just wrapped my arms around her body giving her a hug. She made a choking noise like she was trying to stop yourself from crying and it broke my heart.

"I think we need to talk my dear,"I softly whispered in her ear. She just shook her head up-and-down agreeing with me not letting go. Finally she released me and gave me a soft smile. Grace jumped off the counter and came to stand next to me.

"Can I help?"she asked giving me puppy dog eyes. I looked at her face and kissed her nose, how can you resist a face like that.

"Of course dear, start frying the rice" I told her. When I was done cooking the stirfry I put the pan on the counter and walked up behind Grace. She didn't see me so I wrapped my arms around her waist and put my head against her back. She didn't say anything she just finished cooking the rice. When she was done she turned off the burner, moved the pan, and turned around in my arms pushing me back against the counter. I caught the gleam in her eyes as she rushed forward pressing her lips to my own. She bit my lip and I allowed her entrance and we started making out as her hands roam my body till there was a soft knock at the door. She jumped back and returned to the rice and I just stood there out of breath as my mom walked in.

"Mmm the smells delicious," my mom commented walking to the fridge. She grabbed a drink and walked back out. Grace turned around and started a laughing fit when she saw how red my face was. We finished cooking and brought the food out the dining table where my mom is waiting.
We all small talked as we munched down on our stirfry which everyone seemed to like. After a while my mom started getting ready to leave she gave us all a hug and turned to Grace. "I will come over and get her about 30 minutes before is alright? "Grace shook her head yes and my mom smiled and left. I wonder what that was about I wondered.

#I updated finally guys!! Sorry it's been so long!!! I recovered from my little broken heart and my depression stage for now I should start writing a little bit more! Whelp I gotta go take a shower so I can get my horses some hay! :) Goodbye for now my loves :*
