Chapter 32

LUCY'S POV

We walked and talked for quite a while until my legs started to feel sore.

"Lucy do you want to go back?"Natsu said with a concerned look.

"You look tired." He stated.

"No no no no no! I am actually not tired, lets keep going." I said trying to keep this date going for as long as possible. I never wanted tonight to end but all good things come to an end.

"Okay if you say so" Natsu said as we continued our stroll. Natsu was the best, he could fight his tiredness to keep me company well that is if he is tired. Probably not considering he plays soccer and a whole bunch of sports.

"Actually i'm tired but can we not go back yet." I stated before stopping to see his answer.

"Sure but get on my back." Natsu kneeled down on one knee as he gestured for me to get on his back.

"W-what!?"

"Lucy *sighs* get on my back, i'll carry you."

"I'm heavy by the way." I stated to see of he would change his decision of carrying me.

"Lucy its fine." Natsu said. He really was a gentlemen.

I jumped carefully onto Natsu's back while wrapping my armsaround his neck. He placed his hands on my thighs and he heaved me onto his back as he got up and started to carry me around the park on his back. Natsu was so warm and his heartbeat was very steady that i was slowely being lulled to sleep by the comfortableness.

"*yawns*" I yawned as i struggled to stay awake.

"Sleep Lucy." Natsu reassured but how can i sleep if he is carrying he the whole time.

"How can l if you are *yawn* carrying me? That is being selfish Natsu." I said in a very groggy voice.

" Sleep Lucy i'll be fine."

"No i cant do that ......"I ended up letting sleep take over me. I fell into a very comfortable sleep.

NATSU'S POV

Lucy fell asleep on my back, i could sense it because her heartbeat slowed down and she was quiet.

I walked her back home to my house with the picnic of course and i gently placed the sleeping angel onto my bed. I pulled the blanket over her shoulders and a strand of hair fell over her beautiful face.

I gently used my hand and moved aside the lock of hair.

"Mhmmmm so warm." She mumbled in her sleep as she grabbed a hold of my hand and held it close to her face while she snuggled into it. She was so cute.

I chuckled a bit but there was a problem right now. How was i supposed to sleep if lucy had my hand?

What should i do?

I crawled in beside her in my bed with my arm around her neck. In order to keep myself confortable i had to pull her in closer to me so my arm wouldnt be bent in an odd way. She was very warm and to be quite honest i liked the position we were in right now. I went to sleep in the same cloths, i didnt bother to change cause one i was tired and Lucy wasnt letting go of my hand.

I wrapped the blanket over my shoulders and i used my arm to wrap aroundher stomach and i pulled her closer to my chest.

I fell asleep snuggling my face into her beautiful vanilla scent hair.

TIMESKIP IN THE MORNING

LUCY'S POV

I woke up in unfamilliar surroundings and i started to get quesy but yesterdays events unfolded in my head and i realised thati might be in Natsu's room cause it reminded me of the when we made our script which we had already presented.

My back was pressed againest someones chest and assuming thatit probably was Natsu.

I tried to get out of his grip on my stomach but he was holding me firmly.

"Good Morning Princess." He said in a very groggy morning voice that sounded so cute.

"Morning Natsu." I said turning around to face him and to my surprise he was already awake and staring at my eyes. One of his hands were wrapped around my waist while i was holding one in my hand.

"Wait Princess?" I said tilting my head to register the new nickname Natsu gave me.

"Yeah its your new nickname do you like it." Natsu said kissing me lightly in the forehead

"Sure i love it." I said snuggling closer to Natsu. He let out a light chuckle but he pulled me even closer to me that our bodies were touching. I hugged Natsu as i let go of his hand and he pulled me into a hug but he then proceeded to give me a deep passionate kiss which i returned.

"Natsu come on we still have school." I ushered at him as i finally escaped his grasp.

"Your uniform is on the couch." Natsu directed me while he himself jumped off his bed and started to grab his uniform,

I looked at Natsu and he wasnt wearing a shirt. I unconsiously lookedat his abs and holy are they smoking hot. Wait?! Lucy snap out of it.

"What are you looking at?" Natsu smirked even though he probably already knew.

"Nothing." I quickly turned around and went downstairs to the couch, as Natsu said my uniform was on the couch but how did it get here i didnt bring it yesterday on our date.

"If your wondering how it got here i woke up at 4 in the morning and i hope you dont mind that i used your keys and i went to your house and brought all your school supplies for today."Natsu explained as he slipped on his uniform.

"But wasnt i holding your hand the whole time, cause i remember holding onto someones hand at night."I placed myfinger on my chin as i tried to think,

" You were and you didnt let go of me so i had to sleep with you because you wouldnt let go."

"At 4 you managed to relax so i slowly crept away until an hour later when i got back you got a hold of my hand again somehow." Natsu muttered the last part which caused me to let out a chuckle.

"Sorry" I apologised, i felt guilty for my actions.

"Its ok Luce." Natsu said.

"Wheres the washroom?" I asked I needed to change into  my school uniform.

"To your left." Natsu instructed while he was preparing breakfast.
I ran to the washroom cause I wanted to help him with breakfast so I changed really quickly and in less then 2 minutes I was in my school uniform with my dress hanging on my arm.
"I'll help you." I said sprinting over to where he was standing making pancakes for breakfast.

"I can do it myself." He stated. I ignored his comment as i snatched the pancakes from his hands and i started to take over.

"Fine you can HELP" Natsu emphasized the word help.

"Okay i'll HELP" I returned at him and he just grinned before ruffling my hair.

We finished breakfast and walked to school not in silence cause we both decided that we didnt like silences, I insisted that Natsu has lived with silence for too long so i was going to help him stay happy the rest of his life even though he neglected my thought i still made a mental note to keep him company.
