Chapter 45

LUCY'S POV

Natsu got dressed in a red jacket with his usual white checkered scarf and brown pants. I grabbed my sweater with another one of his t-shirts that were slightly smaller.

Natsu had suggested that  we eat breakfast at a restaurant, he claimed to have planned out the whole day and Natsu specifically told me that i had to listen to what he says and to do exactly like he says. I was suspicious but i trust Natsu with my life so something like this Pfft this is nothing.

"Hurry up Luce!" Natsu hollered already opening and holding the door open with one hand.

"Im coming!" I practically ran down the stairs and trust me it wasnt a good idea. When my legs tried to keep up with my pace unfortunately they were too slow so i ended up falling forward right on the last step.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" It was like everything was in slow motion, my body was falling forward and the ground was coming closer and closer to my face. My eyes snapped shut as i waited for the impact and the sound of my bones snapping and breaking, it never came.

"Be careful" Natsu chuckled holding my body close to his, his hands were  around my arms supporting me from falling, it was sortve like a side hug.

He had one knee on the ground while i was still leaning in his arms and chest.

"Thanks Natsu" I snuggled closer to him placing my head on his chest.

"How are you going to survive without me?" Natsu kissed my head while i was staring at his lips. They were so beautiful and soft sometimes i wondered if he was sculpted by the gods. I even often thought about how i deserved someone like Natsu and what i did to make him love me.

"I wont so dont leave me" I kissed him lightly on the cheek while using my hand to brush away loose strands of hair.

"I promise i wont leave you unless you tell me." Natsu kissed my forehead since i was still leaning on him. He surprisingly was still able to hold me up even when my whole body was leaning on him.

"And i promise i wont tell you to leave. Your the best thing that had ever happened to me." We kissed for a good few minutes before we both agreed that we should get going.

"Come on Luce!" Natsu used his hand to gently push my back upright then he held me by the arms so that my feet were stable.

"Thanks Natsu!" I slipped my feet into my shoes, him doing the same.

Natsu practically dragged me to the dragneel manor garage. It was huge way bigger then the one at home and that one was about the size of a few rooms.

"I thought we were going for breakfast?" The garage was beautiful from the outside. Natsu opened the garage through the door in the side.

He flicked the lights open and it was like the lights illuminating the night sky except we were in the garage.

"This is amazing!" Who knew a single teen could keep a whole estate and company under control.

"Luce i'm glad you like it but this is not anything special." Natsu guided me over to a black ferrari which was placed on the very side apart from the other cars and motorcycles which looked very expensive.

"Natsu are these all yours?" I stared in disbelief, mostly because i didnt think someone like Natsu a teen would be able to handle all the money and power that comes with being a CEO.

"Yeah like i said everything that belonged to my parents or anything with the name of Dragneel belong to me."

"How are you able to have all that but still have so much free time to go to school?" Natsu opened the door for me and i sat in the front.

"Other people manage it for me, that way i can have time to spend with my beautiful girlfriend." Natsu kissed my lips before gently closing the door of the black ferrari.

The insides were beige coloured and everything was placed neatly where it should be. Nothing was out of place.

Natsu slide into the driver seat opening the lights. His expression was serious, Natsu's eyes stared in front as the garage door slide up revealing the parkway.

I was extremly unsettled as this was the exact way my mother died.

"Luce do you trust me?" Natsu placed one hand on top of mine giving it a gentle squeez.

"Y-yes" My voice cracked but i tried to make it sound convincing, it wasnt that i didnt trust Natsu i just wasnt that keen on riding in cars.

"Luce i know what i'm doing and i would never forgive myself if anything happened to you. I know what happened to your mother the same wont happen to you i promise you that." For a second i wondered how Natsu had found out about my mothers death but it was quickly replaced by my trust in Natsu.

"Thank you!" I squeezed his hand gently signaling he could start the engines.

Natsu was clutching the steering wheel so tight it looked like he could puncture it.

"Natsu relax you dont have to worry about me i'll be fine i just need some time to adjust to this."

"Okay" Natsu's grip loosened but his eyes never left the road. I figured its been a long time since he last drove.

We drove to a restaurant called Love and Lucky's earning a lot of stares from passerbys, i dont know if it was because of the ferrari or the fact that beside me was Natsu Dragneel the CEO of the Dragneel estates which is the richest company in the world besides even if he wasnt the CEO he was still like the handsomest man alive.

We ate breakfast along with lunch pretending to be unaware of the flirty eyes several females had gave to Natsu.

After Natsu took me to an private amusement park where we tried all the rides and booths. We played all day that by the time we got back to the mansion it was already 6:00. Natsu offered to play soccer in his backyard which i had agreed even though my legs were killing me.

The rest of the night was playing eating and watching movies at the Dragneel Manor. It was the best day of my life and for this one day just this one day i forgot about my dad and reality.
