Chapter 46

ERZA'S POV

Today was a normal saturday well not that normal, today was me and Jellal's date.

Just thinking about it makes my heart flutter.

Yesterday after the game and showers Jellal walked me home and thoroughly explained the details of the date. We were supposed to meet at the park 2:30.

What we are going to do i dont know but i trust Jellal wont disappoint me.

I woke up late because the Erza Scarlet was not a morning person, noone except for strawberry cake and possibly Jellal could wake me up.

"Ugh! I have to get up if i dont want to be late for the date." I heaved the blanket off me and plopped my legs over my bed and onto the ground.

I dragged my feet over to the bathroom in my room, i stood in front of the mirror and i looked absolutely horrifying. My eyes had bags underneath and my hair was like a birds nest, loose strands were sticking out everywhere.

What has happened to Erza Scarlet? Normally even after a rough night i can still look decent plus the Erza Scarlet always looks regal and graceful, right now i can without doubt say that i look the exact opposite of regal.

"I must have spent so much time thinking last night that i didnt get enough sleep." I slid my hand down my face before squeezing toothpaste onto my toothbrush.

I brushed my teeth for 5 minutes since i want clean and healthy teeth. It was quite a battle trying to brush my hair but i managed. I used my hands to brush through my scalp and make sure my hair looked okay Wait?! why am i so worried about my appearance its only Jellal.

"I am totally going crazy" Unconsciously letting out a sigh but i sorted out a outfit which i thought made me look pretty before preparing myself lunch since i slept through breakfast.

It was hard trying to keep my eyes open, i remembered last night after Jellal had walked me home an hour later he knocked and asked if i wanted to go swimming. I was flushed but i agreed, we went to a beach and we raced each other until we were exhausted. He offered to carry me home since i couldnt even stand.

FLASHBACK

"I can carry you if you like?" Jellal was holding our things being the gentlemen that he was.

We were walking side by side after each of us had changed back into our regular clothing.

"No its alright we can just call a taxi besides i'm heavy and it looks like your also very tired." I stated even though my cheeks had already blended with my hair.

"Its alright Erza."

"B-but...." I never go to finish my sentence because he had already kneeled on one knee turning his head to me gesturing for me to get on.

I was blushing but i knew it would be rude if i didnt let him carry me since he was already on one knee so i agreed and climbed on his back.

"Okay shall we go now Ms.Fernandes?" Jellal said and i was confident he was smirking even if i couldnt see it.

"O-okay." I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck letting him hold me on my lower thighs making sure i dont fall.

I was so tired i layed my head on his back so i could get some rest. His back was so warm that it stopped the goosebumps from forming on my arm whenever the wind blew. It felt so right and safe with him. My eyes were drowsy and the steady slow pace Jellal was walking lulled me to sleep. The next thing i know Jellal was shaking me gently whispering for me to wake up.

"Ugh! Let me go to sleep some more." I whined my eyes still closed.

Suddenly i felt someone kissing me on the nose, chin, jaw and everywhere on my face except for my lips. They were gentle kisses that made me hunger for more. I knew it was Jellal but why wouldnt he kiss me on the lips?

"Jellal what are you doing?" My eyes were slowing fluttering open.

"Its time to wake up your home." I realised that i was in his arms bridle style.

"Do i have to wake up?" I wasnt fully awake but i could still mumble.

"Yes you do if you want to have energy for tomorrows date" He stated chuckling and finally kissing my lips which i grabbed his cheeks and pulled him closer.

"Okay I'll get up but your going to have to let me down first." Jellal placed my feet first on the ground which i placed a hand on his shoulder for support.

"Thank you for today and for everything really" I hugged him tightly, Jellal hugged me back but started to kiss my hair and ear which made me ticklish.

"I love you Erza" Jellal used his hand to stroke my cheek and i used mine to trace his jaw.

"I love you too." I kissed him square on the lips and he kissed back. We kissed for a decent few minutes before deciding we needed to breath.

"i'll see you tomorrow." He gave me butterfly kisses all over my face and i returned them.

"Bye get home safe." I grabbed the collar of his shirt pulling his face down to my level since he was a half head taller then me, i slammed my lips into his. His lips tasted like strawberries and i unconsiously started to explore his mouth trying to taste more. Dont blame me i havent eaten strawberries in like forever.

Jellal grunted and the tables turned , now he was in control. Jellal nibbled on my bottom lip sucking on it slightly making me moan which afterwards i started to blush.

Jellal pulled away making me frown slightly and i immediatly started to miss his warmth.

"Erza i would hate to make you stay up so late." He kissed my forehead holding my face with his two hands.

"Dont sweat" I waved it off even though i was extremly embarassed at being so bold.

"I will miss those lips of yours but until tomorrow i can wait." Jellal smirked at me tracing his fingers on my lips memorizing the shape.

"I'll miss you but until tomorrow." I sighed kissing him again.

"Go inside then i'll leave i need to see you safely inside your house." Jellal leaned on the black railings crossing his arms over his well built chest......wait i am totally crazy!

"Okay bye." I hugged him before running inside my house peeking at him before locking the door.

I watched through the door hole, until he disappeared out of my view i walked upstairs and jumped straight into bed not even bothering to change.

END OF FLASHBACK

Just remembering the flashback makes me blush.

Ugh! Erza focus! I shouted at myself, i made pancakes which didnt take that long.

TIMESKIP AFTER LUNCH 2:15

I had already started to walk to the park, it wasnt far.

When i got there Jellal was already there sitting on the monkey bars.

"Arent you a bit old to still play on those?"

"Yep but i was bored of waiting so i played with the children until they had to go home." He jumped off the monkey bars landing in front of me making me squeal.

"Dont do that you almost gave me a heart attack." I placed my hand on my chest dramatically which only resulted in him chuckling and pulling me close to him pressing our bodies together, my cheeks had a undeniable blush but i shrugged it off and kissed him.

Lets just say that today was without doubt the best day of my life. I will spare the details of the date since i am going to cringe at the thought.
