Chapter 44

LUCY'S POV

I woke up the next day in an fiery red room. I stare at the ceiling before deciding that it was time to get up. Even though today was saturday i still tried to have a tight schedule that includes waking up at the same time every day weekdays or weekends.

I was well aware that i was in the room of Natsu Dragneel.

FLASHBACK

After Natsu finished showering and changed into his normal clothing  Natsu offered to walk me home.

Since i lived alone and it was really lonely at times i asked if i could stay at his house/mansion for the night, i made sure to add that he didnt have to let me if he didnt want to.

"Of course you can, my mansion is always open to you." Natsu even gave me the master key so i could always access it whenever i wanted much to my protest.

Natsu being the gentlemen that he was suggested that he hold my backpack for me cause he thought it was too heavy . I protested but when he added that it also helped to build his strengh i  couldnt argue even if we both knew that he didnt need any because he already had incredible strengh.

"Luce can you open the door since i have no hands right now." Natsu had a smug smirk, he was letitng me open the door to the dragneel mansion with the key he gave me.

"S-sure." It still didnt feel right earning so much of his trust when i didnt do anything to deserve it plus he was giving so much to me and he wasnt getting anyhing back.

"Luce i know what your thinking right now, it was my choice to give you the key and it will be my choice to determine whether or not you deserve it." Natsu placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Well am i deservant?" I tilted my head slightly at the salmon-haired man in front of me.

"I did give you the key didnt i?" He used his hand to lift up my hand and then he proceeded to kiss the top of my hand while i was still clutching the beautiful gold embelished key. It truly was beautiful and it felt as if it was made for me, there was a single diamond in the middle and i let out a gasp. When Natsu handed it to me i was too busy asking him why to admire the gorgeous key.

"Its beautiful right?"  He was behind me, hands on my shoulders and breathing into my ear.

"Its...... i have no words! Thank you!" I spun around and hugged him burying my face into his shirt while he chuckled lightly.

"Anything for you Luce."

We spent the rest of the afternoon watching movies horror ones to be specific on hsi flatscreen that hanged in the livingroom.

Natsu had a still face the whole time that it was kind've creepy. Whenever something scary happened i would clutch tightly at Natsu's arm and he would whisper soothing words that calmed me but the same thing happened every time over and over, i would freak out and grab Natsu like the world depended on it he would just laugh and make fun of my reaction.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh! NATSU HELP!" I screeched jumping into his lap, Natsu flinched but he hugged me tightly.

"Maybe we should stop watching these movies." He reached for the remote while i was nodding my head quite quickly.

"I dont want to step on the ground." I stared at the ground afraid something would grab me from underneath the couch.

"Its already 10, you want me to carry you upstairs?" Natsu offered getting off  the couch and extending a hand.

"You would do that?" 

"Like i said anything for you." I let my hand rest in his hand but to my surprise he pulled me towards him and heaved me into his arms.

"N-Natsu what are you doing?" My face was flushed red.

"Carrying you." He said in a duh tone while he was walking with me in his arms bridle style towards his room.

I dont know what happened next because my eyes were tired so i let them swallow me in darkness as i fell asleep feeling safe and wanted.

END OF FLASHBACK

My hand felt the space beside me and i was met with a hard surface. I let my hands wander as i tried to figure out what it was without actually turning around to look at what it was.

I felt someone clutch my hand and i was frozen but i calmed down since the person was holding my hand ever so gently so without doubt it was Natsu.

"Morning Princess." Natsu's voice was so groggy in the morning which made him sound more attractive. His eyes were still closed but he was somewhat awake.

"Morning Natsu." I turned around to face him, i used my other hand to brush away some salmon locks that blocked his beautiful onyx eyes.

"Have i ever told you how beautiful your eyes are?" I moved closer to him and kissed him on the lips causing his eyes to shoot open. In no time we were sharing kisses, my arms were wrapped around his torso and our legs were tangled in eachothers under the red silk blanket.

"I can tell you how beautiful you are all day if you let me." Natsu kissed me gently and i hungered for his lips.

"I can say the same to you." I used my hands to pull his face down to mine and i crashed my lips into his again.

My hair was spread on the pillow and Natsu's hair looked messier than normal but that didnt make him less handsome in fact it made him look even better. How can someone look so good all the time even when they just woke up?

I looked down at our postion and started to blush. Natsu noticed and a tinge of pink started to creep onto his cheeks.

I had one of Natsu's shirt on me while he was only in his shorts.

"Luce if your wondering your sweater is on the couch. Dont worry i go on of my loose t-shirts and i just dropped it over your head."

"Phew!"

"Geez Luce i still have some dignity." Natsu used his hand to pull me closer and kissed me in the forehead.

"I know" I pat his hair and he kissed my hand.

"Come on lets go somewhere today." Natsu pulled me up and i grinned at him.

"Alright alright i'm going to change downstairs."
