Chapter 43

GAJEEL'S POV

Practise was terrible just terrible! Natsu had told us about what happened to bunny girl and we all agreed that if Sting ever lay a hand on our girls then we would beat the life out of them.

No one was going to make Shrimp cry not on my watch, Shrimp and me agreed that if  any of us needed help the other would be there for them.

TIMESKIP AFTER PRACTISE

Levy ran up to me and jumped on me swallowing me into a hug. I hugged her back before setting her back on the ground.

"So what did you think of Fairy Tails soccer team?" My voice was full of pride but also shame.  I found it rather shameful that Sting was a part of the team but i guess i'll have to cope with it.

Today i was rather proud of myself, when wer were separated Gray and me were but on Sting's side and we both nearly killed ourselves. So we devised a plan; we wouldnt play very well and let Natsu and Jellal score so they could win, but of course Makarov made us play well so much for that plan.

"Gajeel you were awesome!" Levy kissed my cheek and i had an amused smile.

"You know i think you should come more to practises that way you can see the 4 of us beat the pulp out of Sting." I stated and she seemed to agree. I'm guessing that the girls were also aware of what happened this morning so they probably also were furious.

"I have to take a shower so you'll have to wait outside the boys changeroom. I'll try to be quick so you dont have to wait that long." I kissed her in the forehead but she grabbed my cheeks and pulled me into a kiss which i happily accepted. Who knew the shrimp was so strong?

We walked and talked our way to the changeroom and it seemed that everyone was acting lovey dovey today. Bunny girl and pyro pony were kissing but the most important part was that Natsu was laughing LAUGHING. I emphasized the laughing, since when has Natsu ever laughed?

"Stay there and dont move until i get back." I pointed to the bench where bunny girl was reading, i guess they beat us here.

"Okay" She brought a book herself and i made a face at her. She stuck out her tounge at me and chuckled to myself.

"What took you so long?" Natsu had already placed his things in the cubbies and he was taking off his jersey.

"The same reason you werent the first one here. Your normally the first in and the first out." I spat at him and he gave me a cold glare.

Dragneel has a great habit of glaring but i'm used to it.

ERZA'S POV

Lisanna dragged us to the game but she and Bickslow disappeared right after. They only returned when the team was split in two. Lisanna better start explaining tomorrow since she and Bickslow left early.

I was currently studying the team and observing if they stood a chance to be able to make it to the championships. There were great players i can say without  a doubt but their teamwork needed a bit of improvement.

Jellal and Natsu's co-ordination were very precise and they teamworked very well scoring and making great passes.

I was anticipating for the practise to end sooner, i really dearly wanted to talk and kiss Jellal.

Wait!? Did i seriously just think that? I sound so cliche and cheesy right now.

TIMESKIP TO THE END OF PRACTISE

Jellal ran up to me and flashed me a grin which i returned.

"I never knew you were such a great soccer player!" I threw him a towel which he caught with one hand, he used it to wipe behind his neck and forehead. Afterwards he draped it over his arm and we started walking towards the school.

"I didnt get to talk with you the whole day and it was just miserable." He stated and i nodded my head in agreement.

"I agree"

"So how do you think our team is?" I thought carefully before responding.

"You guys had great independent skills, also it seemed that your whole team seemed to get along well except for Sting. Is this your way of getting back at him for this morning?"

"Yeah we came up with a plan but it was ruined since Makarov made us be nice." Jellal pouted before slipped his hand into mine, my lips tugged into a smile.

"You guys really are so kind." I stood on my tippy toes and i leaned to kiss him on the lips. He used his hand to push my head forward deepening the kiss. I placed my hands on his chest and i lightly gripped the blue fairytail soccer jersey that he was wearing. Unfortunately people die if they cant breath so we had to part to catch our breath.

"I have to take a shower so you can go home if you dont want to wait." I reajusted my backpack strap but i shook my head.

"I can wait."

"Thanks Erza." He kissed me in the cheek before sprinting to the changeroom. I walked over to the benchs and it seemed like the two girls were too deep in their book to realise my presence.

"Hey guys did you see Erza anywhere?" I questioned loud enough to bring both their heads out of their books.

"Erza what took you so long." Levy hugged me and she was squealing like a kid, i guess Gajeel may have caused this.

"I was with Jellal." Lucy made a heart with her hands and i glared at her but she shrugged it off.

"Wheres Juvia?" My eyes scanned the whole room and indeed the bluenette had not arrived yet.

"Shes probably with her boyfriend."

"Her boyfriends Gray right?" I wasnt particularly paying attention when Juvia told us who her boyfriend was.

"Yeah it is, Wait Erza were you not paying attention?" Lucy placed her hand over her heart as she was overexaggerating but truly i always pay attention so whenever i dont its always a surprise.

"Sorry!"

"Its alright." Levy patted my back.

"Girls! Sorry i'm late." Juvia ran over to us panting and Gray was right behind her.

"She was with me." Gray explained.

"Chill we werent going to get mad." Lucy explained.

"Gray are you okay?" Levy had a smug grin on her face.

"Yeah why wouldnt i be?" His hand wandered over his face in attempt to clear anything that could be on it.

"Its just that your lips look swollen."

All our eyes moved over to his lips, Gray started to blush and indeed his lips were very pink.

Juvia was also blushing and at the moment we all made the conclusion that they were kissing, i made a mental note not to ask them anymore so they wouldnt be embarassed more.

"Um i got to shower bye!" He sprinted to the changeroom within minutes.

All of us started to laugh at his reaction.

That was how our afternoon was spent. Despite the drama that happened this morning the boys always knew how to cheer us up.
