LUCY'S POV

I cant believe he just told the class that he was the heir of Dragneel Corps but i guess its all for the best right?

TIMESKIP TO LUNCH

"Natsu you okay?" I rested my hand on his shoulder.

"Yeah." He said with slight anger.

So basically after his confrontion the whole class kept silence while we were still forced to learn about Grandine's assasination. Some people shot Natsu sympathetic looks but he just straight ahead told them that he didnt want or need their pity.

Rumours spread through the school like a wild fire by lunch almost everyone had heard of what happened in history class.

"Natsu do you want to eat on the roof today? I mean if you dont want to eat in the cafeteria." I asked Natsu as we walked side by side in the hallway our hands clutching our books.

"No i cant hide from the whispers the whole year so its now or never. I have to face it anyway. But thanks for the suggestion." He asked me and for a second it was just me and him. No whispers or problems in reality.

"Your welcome. I'm here for you so if whenever you need to let off some steam or anger." I reassured him.

"No i cant do that. These are my problems so i have to deal with them." He just shook his head.

"Natsu stop it seriously. I still have to repay you for saving my life back there from Sting so if you ever need help with anything i can help you." I said in a threatening voice but my voice grew softer with ever word.

"Thanks Luce." We ignored the stares or whispers in the hallways when we made our way to our lockers to put away our books.

Me and Natsu's locker were only one locker apart which the one locker in between belonged to no one.

I slid my books carefully on the ledge and so did Natsu except he was glaring at Sting and his friends when they passed by.

"Natsu ignore them." I made my way to Natsu's locker and i leaned on the empty one while i watched Natsu grab his basketball and shoes.

"Geez what did it look like i was doing the whole year." He replied sarcastically.

"Oh i never noticed." I replied with the same tone.

"Lets get to lunch. I have to practice basketball after, you can watch if you want." He dribbled the ball in front of him as we walked to the cafeteria.

By the time we got there everyone had already gotten seats and started to eat making it awkward when we entered and everyones eyes as if on cue all glanced our way.

Natsu either didnt notice or he ignored their stares. I looked anywhere but their eyes but unfortunatly i was too clumsy to not notice someone stick their foot out to trip me.

"Eeek!" I closed my eyes waiting for the impact but it never came.

"Luce be more careful espiecally when im not around." Natsu was in front of me and supporting me up.

"Sorry Natsu." My feet found their balance and i stood up while Natsu had already found the culprit in charge of the accident.

" Didnt i warn you already. You better control your feet or you wont have one Sting Eucliffe." Natsu growled a few inches away from Sting's face.

"Sorry for tripping your girlfriend Natsu." Sting smirked and all i wanted to do was rip his body limb by limb.

A bunch of ooooohhhhs and BUUUUURRRRRRNNNNNNs were heard around the room.

Natsu looked mad but him being the master of hiding emotions kept his posture and............punched Sting square in the face. Ooohhh! That must hurt.

I quickly walked over to Natsu making sure he didnt go too far. Trust me i wasnt worrying about Sting, I could care less about Sting but i had to make sure Natsu didnt get in trouble because of me.

"Natsu you dont need to fight my fights." I rested my hand on his shoulder and he immediatly turned around and walked to get his tray.

People had shocked expressions. I wonder why?

"Did your boyfriend leave?" Sting said rubbing his face in which a bruise was starting to form.

"First of all you dont deserve to even be in Natsu's presence and second of all this is what you get for everything you've done to me and Natsu." I punched him again in the exact same place as Natsu.

He flew all the way across the room and he was unconcious. Hah! That should teach him a lesson.

My knuckles started to hurt.

I turned around to see Natsu waiting for the school chef to get his lunch leaning on the wall. He had a huge smirk on his face.

"That was something." He commented.

"I know. Everything about him hurts. Even my knuckles can agree with me." I pouted as i rubbed my knuckles.

Natsu let out a throaty laugh, it was a bit creepy watching him laugh but it was good to see that he was finally expieriencing normal feelings.

"Let me see your hand." I was aware the whole cafeteria was still watching us but i chose to ignore.

I gave my hand to Natsu as he held it in his hands studieing my knuckles which were starting to turn red.

He lifted my hand to his mouth and then the unexpected happens.

Natsu gently kissed each one of my knuckles before letting go. I was as red as a tomatoe by now.

Gasps were heard throughout the cafeteria.

"Now lets go eat." He grabbed my other hand and dragged me with my lunch tray and his in his other hand.

I smirked at our friends who were staring jawdropped at what they had just witnessed.

Today is blessed.

I got to punch Sting in the face, God is sooooooo on my side today.
