 Vanessa POV

Okay, I was shocked. Before this performance thingy became a daily routine, we had promised each other to not dedicate any song for each other.

But what happened awhile ago couldn’t be real. Could it? Elisa said Trevor wanted to dedicate it to me.

But … No. He can’t and wouldn’t do that. I mean, he was one of the first to know about my crush for Luhan, apart from Mikaela of course.

If he knew, why would he do that?

The rest of the day past by in a blur. I would go to class then to my locker to collect books then to class again.

I was currently waiting for Mikaela’s and the guys’ practices to end. Elisa had already gone home, seeing as her boyfriend, KRIS, had brought her home.

Mikaela was on the cheer squad. But wait, don’t judge her that way. She is no bitch, unlike Anna. Mikaela is a nice and kind person, she helps loads of people and doesn’t hesitate to donate anything to charity.

Yea, she was that kind of person.

The guys were having football practice. They were the stars of our school team. And that’s why we were popular.

We have a cheerleader and three star football players with me and Elisa. Every girl would look at us with envy and hate and every boy would want us like they want Mikaela. I mean, we were sort-of a clique. No one could break us apart.

Luhan POV

“Lu! Where are you?” I was sitting on my bed and locked away from the world in my room at our dorm. Sehun and the others were looking for me but couldn’t find me.

I have been in here since the last time I saw Nessa. Trevor and Mikaela had been texting me often to keep me updated. And since Elisa was Kris’ girlfriend, she would tell me almost everything about her.

Only Trevor, Mikaela, Elisa, Sehun and Kris knew I liked a fan. If the others knew, I think I would already be fried chicken right now.

The management of SM declared that we will be having a masquerade ball next Monday to celebrate the beginning of our album, XOXO.

Each of us had to bring a date and I was nervous. How was I going to ask Amy (that’s her real name, but I prefer Nessa) to go with me?

Maybe I should call Mikaela. She would be able to help me.

Trevor POV

Its been two days since that performance and Amy and I were avoiding each other. I guess maybe she thought it was a friendly gesture, seeing that I always sit far away from her and nearer to Mikaela. 

And that is why I am lucky to have her. Mikaela was like the little sister I've always wanted but never have. Sweet, caring and carefree. She was the most amazing person I’ve met.

This morning, I got a letter, or should I say invitation from SM Entertainment to the masquerade ball they were holding on Monday for the beginning of EXO’s new album, XOXO.

I was familiar with SM and I was an ex-trainee, that’s why I was friends with EXO and most people and staff at the company.

I was nervous, should I ask her to go with me? Or should I not?

Maybe it was time to talk to Mikaela. She’ll know what to do.
