Luhan POV

BANG!

The loud gun shot that came from Evans had everyone at the scene stopped what they were doing. The SWAT agents and Evans' people all stopped from fighting.

Evans' people start to retreat when they saw that their leader had their target on the ground, with blood pouring out of her stomach.

Before going to Mikaela, I quickly aimed at Evans' stomach and shot. She, too, fell on the ground with blood pouring out of her stomach.

I then ran towards her quickly along with the other agents. She was even coughing out blood. I lifted her head and held onto her like she was my long-lost sister who had been shot.

"Lu-Lu-Luhan, m-make s-sure y-you w-will l-love Vanessa pr-properly. I-If n-not, I w-will pe-personally h-haunt you. A-Arasso?"

"Saeng, don't go. You still have training so your dream will come true." I was crying as it was hard for me to see someone I knew but became someone like my little sister in such a short period of time suffer like this.

She chuckled and looked at me. "My d-dream had al-already c-came t-true."

She looked to Trevor and smiled. He walked over and knelt down, kissing her forehead.

"H-Having s-someone w-who loves me f-for me w-was e-enough." She interlaced her fingers with Trevor's and looked up at him and smiled.

"Listen Luhan, I appreciate your love as a brother to Mikaela. I'm not suspecting the two of you. But please know that I was just a spy for Evans. None of it was real. My fake personality, my rude attitude, everything."

"I figured that out. Right from the start, I knew you were just as innocent as they were. Don't worry, saeng, I'll love Vanessa the same way you love Mikaela."

I smiled at Trevor, but frowned when I heard Mikaela grunt. I passed her head to Trevor and they exchanged words. I quickly got up and called Jason to get an ambulance.

"Jason, quickly call an ambulance. Mikaela's hurt." Luckily Jason had studied different languages and was able to understand what I said.

He said okay and hung up. I looked down at both Trevor and Mikaela.

Why would such a sweet couple had such a bad ending?

Vanessa POV

"What did he say, Jason?" I was nervous. Luhan couldn't be hurt, could he?

"Mikaela's hurt. Cynthia, call 911." He looked at me sadly and went back to studying informations about their next target.

I sighed and sniffled. SWAT agents were really busy, but we were lucky that Mikaela, Julius and Jordan had been appointed Team Leaders to this whole group of agents. They had earned it with their hard work and sweat.

"Saeng, don't be sad. Otherwise Luhan won't want you anymore." Baekhyun and Sehun came up to hug me and wiped the tears that were falling.

"Yah, oppa. How could you say that? Want me to destroy your eyeliner?" I laughed as I saw Baekhyun's expression.

I assured him that it was a joke and quickly hugged him before he could cry about me destroying his eyeliner.

3rd Person POV

The ER at the hospital was packed when the ambulance containing Mikaela and three vans that were filled with SWAT agents and Luhan, Sehun, Baekhyun, Vanessa, Elisa, Jordan and Julius.

Trevor took a ride with Mikaela in the ambulance and held onto her hand tightly, making sure that their bond wouldn't break.

Another ambulance had arrived when they had just prepared an OR for Mikaela. The ambulance, which had Samantha Evans in it, was sent to another hospital because they weren't enough doctors to operate.

Mikaela had already passed out before the anesthesia was even given so it was a 50/50 chance that she could slip into coma.

Julius had commanded that the SWAT agents to go home, take a shower and relax. It had been a long and exhausting mission, so he excused the whole group of them to take the rest of the day off.

Now, sitting outside the OR room that Mikaela was in, were the whole of EXO (the other members who had arrived 5 minutes into the surgery), Trevor, Jordan, Julius, Elisa and Vanessa.

The girls were worried whereas the boys are comforting and assuring one another that their little sister will be saved and will live because they were so many things that all of them still wanted to tell her.

Three hours had passed, Mikaela's parents came after an hour into the surgery. Mrs. Mae was in tears when Trevor told her what happened. Mr. Mae was comforting his wife and holding onto her hand the whole time.

Everyone looked to the door and got up when they heard the OR's doors opened. They all rushed towards the doctor and waited for the news.

"The surgery was successful, but I'm afraid we were too late. She had a concussion before the anesthesia was given, so she had slipped into a coma. We don't know when she would wake up. I'm so sorry."

The doctor shook his head and bid them goodbye. He headed towards his office to analyze more of Mikaela's condition.

The EXO members, Mikaela's parents and her friends were upset about her condition. Slipped into coma? No way, Mikaela was too strong for that too happen. They all thought.
