Mikaela POV

*sighs* Finally after so many years of having a crush on him, he actually asked me to be his girlfriend! 

I'm so happy that we could work this out. Even though sometimes he still looks at Vanessa that way, I can't be jealous, because they're both my best friends and I can't do anything that would hurt the both of them.

Luhan had just called and said they were flying back to Korea, but he had also said that they will be flying back a week later for something they had prepared for Vanessa.

I was excited as I was a part of this surprise and couldn't wait to see Vanessa's reaction. I hope she appreciates the effort that Luhan made. She has been single for wayyyyyyyyy too long.

Vanessa POV

Mikaela was getting her happily ever after and Trevor was just being a jerk. 

How could he still flirt with me after asking Mikaela to become his girlfriend?

Could it be that Mikaela was just a rebound? No, the Trevor I know wouldn't do that. He wouldn't even think of it.

Maybe I was thinking too much. 

I shook my head and paid attention to Mrs. Burt who was teaching yet another boring chapter of Algebra. Trevor, Mikaela, Jordan, Julius and Elisa had just gone out for the performance thingy, which left me to die of boredom here in her stupid AP Algebra class.

The bell rang at the perfect timing and I quickly dumped my books into my bag and ran out the door along with the other students. 

I walked to my locker and out in the dial. I opened it and was about to take my Biology textbook when a piece of paper attached to a lollipop dropped on the floor.

I looked around before crouching down to pick it up. I flipped the paper open and read it.

Dear Vanessa,

Hope to see you again soon. Please accept this lollipop as an apology for my early departure.

Luhan :)

Hmm, who knew that Luhan would know I like sweets. 

It was a great change for him to become someone a little more well-mannered than the first time I met him, which he was full of himself and was always acting like a jerk.

I placed the lollipop in my bag along with the note and my Biology textbook. I then walked towards the hall, alone, because they had all abandoned me for the performance thingy.

I opened the doors to the hall and took my usual seat. Although the seats in the hall weren't labelled, the students all knew well that the seats that our group sat was only for our group, no one could sit on them.

I sighed as I listened to Elisa talking about the performances for today.

Luhan POV

"CUT!" The director cut us halfway during Tao's rap. 

Kai was on the floor writhing around and clutching onto his waist. I quickly ran to him along with the other members. 

"Yah, saeng, gwaenchan-a?" I asked, while holding onto Kai's hand. He was hurt and it seemed really bad. 

Our manager dropped his cup of coffee on the floor and ran towards us while yelling for someone to call an ambulance.

Kai was still clutching his waist and crying, yelping every time he moved. I heard the sirens of the ambulance and quickly helped Chanyeol to support Kai up.

The parademics came in with a stretcher and lifted Kai onto it with our help. Kai's face was red and tears were all over his face. The parademics carefully and quickly brought him to the ambulance. 

The rest of us piled into the vans and waited for our manager. Apparently he was arguing with the parademics that brought Kai into the ambulance.

We were worried, as Kai was not one to get injuries so often. Sehun and D.O were playing with their fingers, their lips quivered, as they hold in their tears. 

I comforted Sehun and Baekhyun comforted D.O as the manager came in and drove us to the hospital, following the ambulance. There was a police car behind us, making sure that no fans were following us.

I was praying so hard to God that he makes sure Kai is alright. I don't know what we'll do if one of us was hurt.

Mikaela POV

We had just finished our 1st performance for the day when my phone rang. Luckily the second performance didn't involved me.

I smiled as I saw it was from Luhan. I clicked 'Accept' and pressed the phone to my ear.

I was about to say hi when Luhan's rushed voice came on the phone. 

"Saeng, Kai's in the hospital right now. We don't know his condition yet, but I think the surprise would have to be postponed." 

"What?! What happened? Is he going to be alright? I'm flying in right now!" 

Before he could say anything, I hung up and grabbed my bag. I gave my mic to Trevor and told him where I was going. I gave him a brief kiss on the cheek and called my parents.

Unknown POV

"She is currently on the way to the airport, miss." 

My butler gave me the news and I waved him away. 

I smirked. Now that that annoying girl best friend of hers is gone, we'll only have to deal with three more.

This was going to be fun.
