Elisa POV

Ugh. Why isn't Vanessa answering her phone? She's been gone for three hours straight without a sound and she hasn't come back yet.

I was pacing around in their apartment. Trevor was out meeting someone important, so that left me, Jordan and Julius. We were worried as Mikaela went to Korea four hours ago without a reason and one hour later, Vanessa went missing.

"Should we call the police?" I asked, biting my finger nail while pacing around the living room. Their apartment was a penthouse and it was huge.

"We should, but we can't. The police won't help us find her either because she isn't missing for 24 hours yet." Jordan said calmly, but I could still hear the sound of him worried in it.

"Elisa, just chill, kay? We'll find her, I promise you that." Julius got up from his seat and came to pull me down to the seat in between him and Jordan on the sofa.

"I just hope your promise will stay a promise." I sighed and leaned on his shoulder.

Vanessa POV

"Hello old friend."

"Samantha Mariah Evans, my ex-best friend who become a stranger after a terrible incident, has finally come back. After so many years, you're finally back. Nice to see you. You've gotten skinnier." I scoffed and crossed my arms.

" Vanessa Arabelle Lee, I see that you didn't change at all after everything you had was taken away from you." She scoffed and did the same thing.

"Seems like you grew an attitude during the time you were gone, Evans." I uncrossed my arms and took three steps forward.

She uncrossed her arms and did the same thing. "Seems like you did too, Lee."

We took steps forward until we were face to face.

"What made you stronger, Lee? I want to know."

"I had friends. What about you, Evans? Still seducing guys to get what you want?"

"Ouch Lee, out of so many nerves, you had to touch that one?"

"I take that as a yes."

"Oh, you're so dead."

I felt someone sneaking up on me and I was about to turn around to hit him but I failed as he had already put a cloth on my nose and mouth, putting me to sleep.

"Sleep well, Vanessa."

Luhan POV

Why isn't she answering her phone? Its been more than three hours that I've tried to contact her.

"Oppa, is something wrong? Who are you trying to call?" Mikaela came by my side and gave me a cup of coffee.

Kai had came out of the OR an hour ago. The doctor said he had fractured two ribs, sprained his waist and won't heal as fast. It would take him at least two months because his injuries were quite bad.

"Vanessa isn't answering her phone. Aren't you worried?" I asked her, drinking the cup of coffee she passed me.

"Why would I be worried? She just sent me a text." Mikaela smiled and drank her own cup of coffee.

"What?!" I think I yelled too loud because she spat her coffee back into the cup and was now coughing.

"I'm sorry, saeng. But can you let me see what she sent you?" I patted her back to stop her from coughing like a maniac.

Mikaela placed her cup of coffee on the window pane and took her phone out from her hoodie pocket. She unlocked it and opened up the message for me.

'Hi Kaela! I heard u went 2 Korea wifout me, eh? thts x fair isit? well, hv fun anyways ^^ xo'

I took it from her and read through the message. It was in English so I couldn't understand and asked her to translate it for me.

I reread the message again, this time making sure to catch any hints that she was missing.

"Saeng, does Vanessa usually use simplified words?" I asked her, because I saw that her previous messages to Mikaela didn't consist of any simplified words.

"Not often. She only uses them when she's in a rush or just angry. Why?" She slid her phone back into the hoodie pocket and brought her cup to her mouth.

"Nothing. I thought she might be in danger or something." I placed my cup on the window pane and crossed my arms.

"Don't worry. I'm sure sh- Excuse me." Her phone's awesome ringtone of our song compilation remixed by her rang and she pulled it out, excusing herself to take the call.

I look out into the window and wrap my arms around myself. *sigh* This hospital is starting to give me chills. I was about to take my cup when Mikaela yelled.

"What? What do you mean she's missing? I leave for not a day and she went missing just one hour after I left? I gave instructions to Trevor that she must be looked after. I even told him that Samantha's back."

She was yelling into her phone. Although it was only loud enough that only I could hear, it was still a bit embarrassing that you have someone yelling into a phone, standing beside you.

"What?! He didn't tell either of you? I specifically told him to tell all of you! He should know how dangerous Samantha is to Vanessa! Ugh. I can't leave now, just make sure that you get the fucking police involved. If you want, use my name. I don't care! Find Vanessa! I gotta go, bye."

She was speaking in English and maybe cursing ... in English? She hung up and walked towards me.

"What's wrong?" I asked her in Chinese.

She shook her head and smiled at me. "Nothing, oppa. I think I should go now. I still need to meet up with the President tomorrow morning."

"Wait, when are you leaving?" I asked, hoping she would stay awhile since she was able to calm the other members down when Kai was in the OR.

"I don't know. I start training in a few days. So I might fly back tomorrow and settle things before coming back to start training."

"Oh. Tell Vanessa I said hi. I'll see you soon, saeng."

"See you soon too, oppa. Tell the others I'll be back soon." She hugged me and waved me goodbye.

I smiled, thinking of having Vanessa by my side once more when Kai is feeling better.

Mikaela POV

What the fuck is wrong with Trevor? I leave the others for him to take care of and he doesn't tell them anything at all?

The Trevor I knew wouldn't do that. What happened to him? Am I just a rebound? Does he still like Vanessa?

I ran out of the hospital and got into the rental car. I dropped my head onto the steering wheel and felt tears forming.

No, I am not going to cry. I won't show that I'm weak. I'm strong and I know it.

Hang on Vanessa, I'll find you no matter what. I won't let Samantha Evans hurt you again or my name isn't Mikaela Clarissa Mae.
