Vanessa POV

Where am I? 

Ow, my head hurts. Did I get drunk again last night?

I sat up while grabbing onto my head and looked at my surroundings. Weird, this wasn't my room, neither was it Mikaela's room.

"Ow!" I clutched onto my head and the sudden flashbacks of what happened flooded into my memory. 

"Shit!" 

Samantha was back and Mikaela and Trevor aren't here to help me. What was I supposed to do? 

The last time I was in this kind of situation, I at least had the both of them, now I didn't have anyone here.

I was about to get up from the bed when I heard footsteps outside. They were nearing my door and I quickly lie back down and pretended to be unconsious.

I closed my eyes and listened to my surroundings just as as Mikaela had taught me. She had survived something like this because of her inheritance and she taught me to be cautious. 

The door creaked open and I heard a guy's voice. 

"She's perfectly safe under my hands, babe. Dont you worry. No, I won't let her get away. Okay, love you too, babe. Bye." 

Doesn't that sound like ... 

Oh my God, Trevor was working with Samantha! That's why he was acting more cocky and arrogant. That's why his personality changed. Oh, shit.

Oh my flappin God, I so pity Mikaela right now.

"What the fuck? Why aren't you awake yet?" He kicked my bedside and I had to refrain myself from yelping. Apparently he has forgotten what Mikaela had taught all of us. 

I bit my lip to stop myself from getting up and slapping Trevor in the face for hurting us, for hurting Mikaela. She had to endure so many years of him loving someone else. But now that he was hers, she still felt as if his heart never left mine.

Trevor got up and went out of the room. I heard him slam the door and sliding against it. I sat up quietly and could hear him saying 'I'm sorry, Mikaela' over and over again.

I pity Mikaela and Trevor. I pity Mikaela because she's been in love wtih him since forever and he's having an affair with her ex-best friend. I pity Trevor because he was stuck in between the light and the dark.

*sigh* Mikaela, I hope you would find someone better after I've got out of here.

Julius POV

"I don't fucking care if it isn't 24 hours yet! Our friend is in danger!" 

"I'm sorry, sir. But it must be 24 hours before you can report that your friend has been missing. We're just doing our work." 

"She's been gone for 16 hours straight! She would normally call if she was to go somewhere. We've looked at all the places she would go. And even the places she would not go." 

"We're really sorry, sir. But we cannot look for anyone under the circumstances that he/she isn't gone for 24 hours yet." 

"They're with me. Are you sure you aren't able to find someone under the circumstances that my father will ruin your reputation along with the other officers?" 

Mikaela had just walked into the police department and she was wearing her 'business' clothes, which was, to us, very expensive-looking.

"M-M-Miss Mae, h-how c-can we help y-you?" The officer that I was arguing with had suddenly changed his attitude. Hmph, why is everyone so scared of the Mae family? 

Mikaela and I have been best friends since birth along with Trevor and Vanessa. She and I were born into wealthy families, although I was taught to never use my authorities.

But maybe  just this once, since it was Vanessa.

"Do you know who I am?" I asked the officer who was still shaking from head to toe because Mikaela came in.

He shook his head and paid his attention to me. Mikaela and the others looked to my direction with wide eyes, signaling me an are-you-crazy look.

"Listen here, buddy. If you don't want this department to get ruined because of you, you better do as I say. Send out search parties for our friend or I will get my parents to sue you for wasting precious time when you can look for her. Understood?" 

"And who do yo-" The chief of the department stepped out of his office and looked at me, recognising who I was.

"Ah, Mister Julius. Its so good to see you again. How is your father?" 

"Do you perhaps know him, sir?" The officer turned towards his senior and asked him.

"Yes, I do. In fact, you should know him too. Jack, meet the heir to Tan & Tan Corporation. The company which is in the fashion industry that is ranking #1 all around the world." 

"Oh fuck." Officer Jack cursed silently, thinking that I couldn't hear.

"We'll send search parties out to look for your friend, Miss Mae and Mister Tan. But for now, please come in and have a cup of coffee with your friends." He instructed Officer Jack to do so and invited us in.

"Send the troops from all your departments. Even the ones outside of this area. We wouldn't know if she's been shipped halfway across the world." Mikaela added on what I was about to say and followed us into the office.

I just hope that Vanessa will be okay.

Luhan POV

That's weird. Now Mikaela's not answering her phone. Hmm, I was just about to tell her that the others missed her. 

*ding* *ding*

'Oppa, I'm on important business right now. I'll call you later. Tell the others I said hi.'

Oh, right. She is the heiress to an international company. How can I forget that? She must be busy.

I'll just wait for her call then. 

*sigh* Kai, you better get well soon, or else the fans will kill us.
