Vanessa POV

It was all my fault. If only I had agreed to Samantha that I backed off from Luhan. If I did, Sehun, Baekhyun and I wouldn't have been kidnapped, Mikaela and the others wouldn't need to save me, Mikaela wouldn't slip into a coma because of me.

The tears had fallen from my face and onto my lap as I had curled myself into a ball once the doctor told us her condition.

Mikaela's mom didn't take it so well, she broke down just after the doctor said Mikaela slipped into coma. So Mikaela's dad took her back to the hotel.

The boys and Elisa took it badly too. Just as what I predicted, they were blaming themselves as well. They were blaming themselves for not paying attention to Mikaela during the fight.

The EXO members were sad. Most of them took it well, except for Sehun, Baekhyun and Kris. The trio were the closest to Mikaela and were as sad as I was.

Luhan, who has been sitting beside me, pulled me into a hug and placed his chin on top of my head. I closed my eyes, thinking that Samantha would still be alive and might come back.

It made me thought of the time of the incident.

~flashback~

"Mikaela! Vanessa! Wait up!" Jessica called after us. Mikaela, Samantha and I were laughing while going to Mikaela's car.

We stopped as soon as Jessica had told us to. Samantha seemed hesitant to stop, but she stopped anyway.

"What's up, Jess?" Mikaela smiled at our friend.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Samantha glaring at Jessica and giving her a don't-you-dare look. I ignored it, looked at Jessica and smiled.

Jessica hesitantly passed her iPad to us. On it were two pictures. Mikaela and I gasped as soon as we focused closely on the pictures.

Samantha Evans? Our supposedly virgin best friend was fucking our boyfriends behind our backs?

Mikaela quickly shoved the iPad back to Jessica and ushered her to go home since it was the end of school.

She then turned to face Samantha and glared at her with tears at the edge of her eyes.

"How could you, Samantha? I finally got a guy to like me because I'm me and you just had to fuck him behind my back?"

"He came to me first, Kaela. He was drunk after you guys had that fight. Next thing I knew, we were fucking."

"It mustn't have only been once. How many times did you fuck with John? Huh? Tell me!"

"Jealous much, Mikaela? He said you were too holy to fuck with him so he came to see me whenever you rejected him."

"How could you, you whore? He was my everything!"

"If he was your everything, do you think he would have came to me asking me for sex? Huh?"

Mikaela was silent, but Samantha didn't stop. She had to bring up that she fucked with my boyfriend too.

"And Vanessa, that boyfriend of yours, Jake is such a good fuck. The best I ever had after John."

She winked at me and licked her lips. Oh, that was so it!

I advanced towards her and grabbed her hair. We were cat-fighting and no teacher caught us because it's after-school hours and there's no one here except for the janitor and guard.

Mikaela tried to break us off but Samantha kept on pushing her away.

"You think you're so pretty, huh? Having every boy in our school to turn their heads for you. Did you get plastic surgery? Or did you bribe them?"

"Who do you think you are, huh? Having every boy to bow down to you? You're nothing but a worthless farmer's daughter!"

"That's it!" Mikaela knew Samantha had hit a nerve and she tore away Samantha's hold on me. She punched Samantha in the face and high-kicked her.

"Go away, Samantha. You're not one of us anymore."

After that day, Samantha joined the school's Queen Bitch and wanted to take down our clique.

She reported our dance studio to the government and she was immediately sued and banned out of the country. She never came back. Until now.

~flashback end~

"Hey, you okay?" Luhan lifted my chin and made me look at him. But I kept quiet and didn't reply him.

"It's not your fault, you know?" He hugged me tightly and I felt safe in his arms.

Luhan POV

Vanessa and the others have been like zombies. They don't eat or drink, just walking around like zombies.

At the company, none of us could concentrate on the choreography for our comeback song 'Growl'. It was set to release soon, but we weren't in the mood.

"Cut!" The director yelled cut and lectured us about getting enough sleep and other stuff. He then sent us off to our dorm to rest and call it a day.

When we got to the dorm, we immediately changed out of our costumes and changed to comfortable clothes that didn't make us look obvious that we're famous.

We then quickly walked to the elevator and got down to the parking lot. We piled into the van and were on out way to the hospital.

We slapped on our caps and made sure our faces were well hidden underneath the caps. We then advanced to Mikaela's room.

It was a personal room and it was huge. She got it because the nurses and doctors were tired of us coming and going in a group of twelve to seventeen so that switched the rooms.

We went in immediately and sat ourselves around her. Some of us stood and some of us sat. 

Like usual, we would talk about our day to her. The doctor had said that even though she was in a coma, she would be able to hear everything going around her. 

Mikaela, wake up soon. We're all so worried about you.
