Vanessa POV

The performance thingy had just end and I couldn't see Mikaela anywhere. She told me she was going to sing a special song for me today, but I didn't even see her during the second and third performance.

Could something had happened? Aish, no! No way something would have happened and the others would still look so calm.

Then did she went to the washroom? No, she wouldn't miss the performances. She was the one who would put in lots of effort for this.

Then what's going on?

I went to the backstage and scouted out Trevor. He was her boyfriend so he should know where Mikaela went.

"Trevor! Where's Mikaela?" I attacked him as soon as he finished taking off his mic.

"She went to Korea. Why?" He told me calmly, obviously not giving a care to anything.

What has happened to Trevor? Ever since that night at the SM Ball, he's been different. Much like Luhan when I first met him. What? Their personalities were exchanged?

Cocky, arrogant and rude.

"When and why did she go to Korea?" I asked, crossing my arms and not caring about the looks that the others gave me.

"She just went during the start of the second song and she didn't tell me why."

"So you just let her? Couldn't you grab her arm and ask the reason then let her go?"

"Why should I? She seemed in a rush. Didn't want to hold her back from whatever it is." He grabbed Jordan's bottle and drank the water in it.

My blood was boiling hot that it could cook instant noodles in 5 seconds. I walked to him, ripped the bottle out of his hand and slapped him.

How could he be so calm when his girlfriend was halfway across the world after taking a call and not giving him a reason?

"What the fuck?" He clutched his left cheek and looked at me.

"You listen here, Trevor and you better make sure my words burn in your memory." I let out a deep breath and continued. "If you hurt Mikaela, I will castrate you and throw you into the oceans of the world separately. Do I make myself clear?"

I finished what I wanted to say and stormed off. Mikaela did not deserve someone like that, and I really pity her for having Trevor.

Luhan POV

She just hung up on me. Is she flying over here now?

"Hyung-ah, what did Mikaela say?" Sehun, who was leaning against my shoulder, looked up and asked me.

"She just hung up on me." We were currently sitting outside the OR. Suho and Kris were pacing around, Tao, Xiumin, Lay and Kyungsoo were a nervous wreck and Baekhyun, Chanyeol and Chen were as quiet as mice.

"Yah, come on guys, Kai would be alright. He's stronger than any of us and I'm sure God won't want to lose a person with so much talent." I tried to brighten up the mood in the atmosphere, but the others were still worried.

*Two hours later*

What's taking the doctors so long? How bad was it? The other members were currently fidgeting in their seats, too worried about Kai to sit still.

I heard someone running towards us and I looked to the direction opposite the OR. Mikaela was running down the hall and was rushing towards us.

Sehun and Baekhyun, who saw Mikaela, got up from their seats immediately and ran to hug her. She returned the hug and walked up to us.

"How's Kai?" She asked, as soon as she sat next to D.O who was shaking from head to toe. He was one of the closest members to Kai and he could never bear to lose him.

"We don't know yet, saeng. He's been in there for more than two hours and we're getting more worried." Suho finally sat down after two and a half hours of pacing. Even Kris had given up and sat down an hour ago.

"Saeng, how'd you get here in two hours?" Kris asked.

"Well, my father is the owner of Edward and Edwin Corporation. Edwin is my uncle also known as my father's brother. My mother is a share holder of YG Entertainment. That's why I've got a few privileges. I got here on our private jet."

"Wait, Edward and Edwin Corp.? As in the company that runs international all over the world that opens up eco-friendly places, Edward and Edwin Corporation?" Tao sat up straight and asked, suddenly lively and interested.

Mikaela nodded and blushed. Wow, I didn't know she was the heiress to that company. She must be filthy rich. And then I realized something.

"If you're that rich, how come you don't wear diamonds and sapphires and act all bitchy?" I've seen movies and I knew that most rich people are all bitchy.

"That's cause I'm not like them. I don't like my wealth and heritage. It's also why I only acknowledge my wealth when I really need it. I don't spend it on useless stuff."

Hmm. A nice and kind heiress? That's very unusual.

"I spend most of my wealth on charity too. It's better to see those poor children being treated better than them starving. I've visited those in Africa and I felt pity for them."

I nodded in understandment and the atmosphere was yet again quiet and awkward.

Unknown POV

"Has she reached Korea yet?" I asked, petting my dog's newborn puppy that was on my arm.

"Yes, she's currently sitting with the other EXO members as we speak, miss."

"Good then, send in her boyfriend. We need to talk." I stopped petting the puppy and placed it back onto the basket with its mom.

"Good evening, dear friend. And might I say, you look lovely." 

"Ah, I see you're still good with words." I held out my hand for him to kiss.

"I've done exactly as you've asked, dear friend. She won't know what hit her." 

"Yes, thank you Trevor. Its so nice to see you again after so long." I smirked and got up from my seat. I walked over to him seductively and pulled his tie.

"Stay with me for the night." I whispered in his ear and saw him smirk. I then crashed my lips onto his and we were making out.

Vanessa POV

"Vanessa! Vanessa! You need to come to the hall now! Someone is beating up Elisa! Come on!" 

Some girl from my Biology class ran up to me and dragged me down to the hall. My hair was running wild as I didn't get the chance to tie it up before she dragged me away.

Once I reached the hall, I quickly tied up my hair while rushing through the entrance. I looked up and what greeted me was an old friend.

The doors slammed close behind me and I knew what exactly she wanted.

"Hello, old friend."
