Mom's Point of View ~

I didn't want to kill Chloe just yet. I ran into Walmart hiding my face with a dark hoodie. I grabbed some pink and black and hair dye. I also grabbed another hoodie and some blue eye shadow. I ran past the door not bothering to pay and sprinted to the car. I threw the merchandise into the seat next to me and hit the throttle. I bashed into the car in front of us and swerved away.

My stomach growled and I decided I needed food. We had driven for a few miles and were in a different town. The sun was just starting to come up and I craved breakfast. I headed for the Dunkin Donuts.

Chloe's Point of View ~

I was started to sweat and get claustrophobic. I was scared out of my mind and how no idea where my crazy mother was taking me. I really wished I had been phone at that moment. I felt the car slow down and I heard my mom leave for a little while, but she was back quickly. We had ran into something, there had been honking and someone yelling at my mom. I guessed she probably rammed into someone's car.

We drove a little while longer, than the car stopped again. Maybe she would just forget me and I would die in the trunk of this car, but then something unexpected happened. I heard my mom come around to the back of the car. I heard a click noise, then there was sunlight. My mom yanked me out of the car. We were behind a Dunkin Donuts almost in the middle of no where. I saw another business in the distance, but otherwise Dunkin Donuts was completely alone. My mom was holding a spray can of pink hair dye. She started to spray without telling me to close my eyes. Luckily, I closed my eyes just in time. My blond hair disappeared and was replaced by a bright hot pink. She untied my hands and made me put on a dark hoodie.

She untied my feet and I noticed that her hair was dyed black and she had on a hoodie like me. She held onto my arm and we walked inside.

"Go take a seat in one of those booths." She pointed towards one along the window and I did as she said. She went and ordered some food. I doubted she would get any thing for me. She came back and sat across from me.

"I need to go to the bathroom." I told her thinking she would say no, but I really had to go.

"Just come back right away!" She whisper - yelled. I hopped up and ran to the woman's room. I was surprised to see a Dunkin Donuts worker washing her hands at the sink. Without thinking I asked her for help.

"Help with what?" She dried her hands with a paper towel and looked at me funny.

"My mom is trying to kill me..." I explained, but the worker broke out laughing.

"HAHA! That's funny kid, but don't waste any of my time and lose the pink hair. It doesn't suit your skin tone and eye color." My mouth dropped in awe. I went to the bathroom and tears sprung to my eyes. I was so close to help and she doesn't believe me!

What am I going to do now?
