I had been going to private school for a few weeks now. I guess it was okay. I didn't have to go to dance anymore because my mom pulled me out. She was so mad that we lost and she didn't want to be on a losing team. I sat in my room pretending to be asleep. My second place trophy sat beside my bed. My mom knocked on the door lightly.

"Can I come in?" She asked.

"Sure..." I told her. She came in and sat on the bed.

"I'm so so sorry that I put you with a losing team." She pulled the covers off my face.

"Mom it's not the studio it's me." I said.

"What are you talking about! It's both of you I guess."

"What?! Are you saying I'm a bad dancer?" More tears came streaming to my eyes.

"Yep pretty much and I'm also saying the studio is bad as well." My mom was so mean to me. "Well get up it's time to get ready for school." She went downstairs and I got into one of my new outfits.

Later at school, I was hanging out with one of my new friends Maya Ransom. She had brown hair and brown eyes. She went to a different dance studio. Advanced Dance Academy. She was really good and we dreamed of dancing together in a duet some day. I begged my mom to let me join her dance, but she said no only one that was on TV. Of course. The girl at school that I didn't like very much was Lindsey Paulson. She had blond hair and green eyes and she also danced. She went to the same academy and Maya told me that she won all the time and was really popular around school. Lindsey came over to us with a smirk on her face.

"Hello dance retards." She crossed her arms and walked towards us. She wore the latest fashion.

"Why are you so mean?" I asked her and crossed my arms as well.

"I'm the mean one? You were such a brat on Dance Moms. No wonder they kicked you out." She smiled her arms still crossed.

"I wasn't kicked out I chose to leave." I kicked her in the leg.

"OW!" She grabbed her leg. She ran to the nearest teacher and told on me. Maya ran off telling me good luck. Mrs. Carnold came around the corner. Her eyebrows in a angry expression. Lindsey walked behind her.

She sent me to the principals office. Mr. Martin was our principal here. I was sitting in the chair across his desk and he had his elbows propped on the desk.

"What made you kick her?" Mr. Martin asked me.

"Because she called Maya and I retards and said I was a brat." I slumped into my chair. If Mr. Martin told my mom well, I didn't want to think about that.

"That doesn't make it okay to kick her." He folded his arms across his chest.

"Are you going to do anything about her?" I asked him.

"Just don't listen to her." He shoke his head back and forth. "I'm going to give you a note to show your mom. She needs to sign it and you need to bring it back by tomorrow." He told me.

"Uggh. Lindsey should be in trouble for what she did too." I was angry.

"Like I said it doesn't matter. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." I hated that expression it was so annoying. Words could hurt you.
