I was jealous of Chloe and that's why I always tormented her, but I never wanted her to try and kill herself. That was too much. I used to be friends with Maya, so I knew where her house was. I wanted to talk to her and maybe take to Chloe too.

I knocked on the door and Maya answered.
"Hey, I was wondering if maybe we could talk and maybe go see Chloe..." I twiddled with my thumbs.
"Sorry, but I don't think talking to Chloe is going to work out." Maya said.
"What?" I was really confused.
"She was kidnapped by her lunatic mother. She's probably being tortured and abused right now, so now is not a good time. k?" Maya said with a sassy tone.
"That's terrible!" I shrieked.
"Yeah it is..." Maya started to cry and I felt awkward.
"We need to find her." I crossed my arms.
"Haha! You think that we...." She laughed and pointed at both of us. "Can find Chloe and save her from her crazy mom..." She hesitated, then lowered her voice. "Without dying?"
"Yep pretty much!" I said confidently.
