Maya's Point of View ~

I had no idea where Chloe was and I had no idea how we were going to find her. I thought many times that we should leave it to the cops and the professionals, but something told me that I needed to help. Lindsey and I both packed a bag for a few days. We weren't sure how long we would be gone. I wrote a note for my parents and so did Lindsey. This is what mine said...

Dear mom and dad,

I need to help find Chloe and if I asked you, I know you would probably say no. I feel it in my heart that it's the right thing to do and I hope you understand. I will always have my phone with me, so feel free to call anytime to check up on us. Oh yeah, Lindsey coming with me too. She left a note for her parents as well.

Love your daughter,

Maya

I got all the money I had in my piggy bank. Which was exactly $54.36. Lindsey rounded up all the money that she had too. Which was $4.98 :(   W laughed at that. Anyway we walked to Chloe's house to search for clues. The door was locked and there was police tap everywhere. We went to the backyard and I found the knife she used to try and kill herself. I was surprised the police didn't take it.

We found that the backdoor was open and looked at each other. We quietly stepped inside. Everything was a mess and standing in the middle of it all was a man.
