Chapter 15: It's Mom Now

If only I was there instead of being here in StoryBrooke. Instead I was all the way in New York being a 'transfer student' when really I was just a lost girl.

I've grown too attached to everyone, I mean, their all so caring and nice. They were also fairy tale characters that I grew up with! How can I not love that?! The only reason I want to stay was because of Henry. He made me feel like I was home. I can't leave the boy. He's only twelve! He's like a brother to me. Even though we're from two different worlds, he's like family to me.

All my bags were packed, everything I have, all in one large suitcase. We wanted to have a farewell party tonight at Granny's. It was only going to be us. David, Mary Margret, Killian, Emma, Henry and the baby. Regina and Robin were there too.

"Everyone," David said standing up grabbing his cup. "Tonight, we say farewell to a friend of ours. A friend from this world but was trapped on an island," David spoke up, "Even though she didn't know us, she helped us save Henry, and the rest is history." He finished. He took a seat, when he did, Killian stood up.

"Pearl, I've known you for god knows how long! I even knew your parents! They were good people" Killian spoke up, "I know this is a sad time, but it's a new beginning for you!"

"Killian's right, we should be happy for you" David took over again, "Your having a new beginning. A fresh start. So in memory of you, I'd like to make a toast!" He raise his glass. We all raised ours, even though Henry and mine were Sprite, "To friendship, new beginnings, and Pearl."

"To Pearl," They repeated. We all tipped our cups, then taking a sip.

"Does anyone want to say a few words?" David asked taken his seat.

"I do," Mary Margret spoke up.

"Pearl, when we first met. I thought you were just going to be there and then gone the next! I was far from wrong! We ended up becoming close friends, all of us! So please do us all a favour. Don't ever forget us," She hopped.

"I promise I won't," I smiled.

"Well I have a few words," Regina spoke up. All heads were turned to her.

"Even though I was a little rough on you when we first met, I do want to say thank you," she gave in.

"Why are you saying thank you?" I asked confused.

"Because you make Henry smile like no one else here. You gave him the most joy in his life and for that, I'm grateful," Regina said.

"You are very welcome," I smiled. I saw Emma check her watch.

"Guys, it's that time," Emma warned us. I had to be in the airport for Seattle by 12, it was 8.

"Wow, time does fly by when your having fun!" Killian joked. I stood up fixing myself.

"I guess it's my turn to give a little speech before I leave," I smiled holding back the tears, "When I was stuck in NeverLand. I lost all hope that I would leave that island because of the deal. I was lost, lonely, afraid, fearful. That all changed when you guys came into my life. You guys lead me back to who I really was. If your a hero," I looked to the charmings, "Or a villain" I looked to Hook and Regina, "In my eyes, you'll all be one very important thing to me. Home."

I was really struggling to hold back the tears that were in my eyes. I stared at the clock checking the time. Only one minute pasted.

"Now, it is time to begin my new life," I walked out of my chair.

Mary Margret and David gave me a gentle hug. I patted Killian on the shoulder, but also giving him a hug. He was the first one I ever met out of all these friends. I gave Regina a hug and patted Robins shoulder. The last person I had to say goodbye to was going to be very painful.
