I think you guys may have guessed that I've gone back to school, sooooooo that means that that the updates are slowed down.
If you haven't read the latest chapter (in this case, chapter 9), I suggest you do because it reveals a deep dark secret that Pearl doesn't even know. She will find out later in the story but for now, it's our secret.
