Season 3 Episode 15: Quiet Minds
A/n: Yes! I know I skipped an episode, but that episode had nothing to offer Pearl.
------------------------
Day three in this messed up town. Not that there's anything wrong with it! It just doesn't seem like a normal town. The sun rays were beaming through my curtains but that wasn't enough light for me.

I checked the time, 8:26 am. It seemed like a normal time to get up. Something was telling me to check in everyone I knew. I first called my friends in New York. They all went to voicemail, I called again, it did the same thing.

"The fuck?" I asked myself annoyed. Might as well talk to my parents. I haven't talked to them ever since I left New York. I called the number, waiting for longer then I expected.

"This phone number has been disconnected from the phone line," the phone said. They must have changed the home phone number. I called both my parents cell phones but the phone said the same thing!

"What the hells going on?" I asked myself, throwing the phone onto the bed in anger. It's not normal for people to ignore me like this!

I just let it go. I did the regular business. Take a shower, dry myself and changed into what I could find. Emma did what enough cloths for me, but it was hard to work with. I was able to pull something together.

I walked out of my room to be hit with warm air

I walked out of my room to be hit with warm air. I found Henry, sitting at a coffee table, doing homework?

"Kid, what the hell are you doing?" I asked, taking a seat in front of him. His workspace was covered by books.

"Just finishing some homework," his eyes forced on the paper, "Pearl? Do you think Mum's really here on a case?"

"Hm... Let me guess," I though about it, "she's actually here because she didn't want to accept Walsh's proposal."

"I was thinking the exact same thing," he smiled with joy.

"We know Emma as much as we know each other, she can't trick us," I smirked.

"Yeah, there's something she's not telling us," he agreed.

The sound of a door opening then closing echoed in the room. It was just Emma with breakfast from Granny's Diner.

"Henry!" Emma caught his attention.

"Mum! Were you out all night?" He asked, "I never heard you come in."

"I was working," she took a seat, "but I got you both breakfast because I am super mum. Some coco and a sesame bagel."

Henry took the paper bag, opening it but straight away regretting it.
