It's been a year since Pearl's arrival in StoryBrooke. Ever since the curse was placed upon, Pearl has been living a lie. Thinking like everyone else, they were just stories, fairy tales, a myth. Even though how much she believed in them, it would...
A/N: This chapter is kinda sad, and a lot longer then expected! Like 6684 words long, but Pearl needed to find out the truth. Plus this chapter will start with a flashback, a very important one.
Updated 3rd of January 2017: I changed CabinBoy's name from Robert to Flynn
--------------------- It was another day in Virginia. The day was finished, Pearl was grabbing the items she needed to finish for homework. Emilie was waiting for her, bored as hell.

"Could you hurry up?" Emilie asked, poking her on the back.
"Hold on!" She practically yelled at her. She mumbled to herself, as she placed her bag next to her, "My god! My lockers a shit hole."
When finally placing the lock back on, she turned to her bag but it was taken by Emilie and found her a foot away from her with the bag at her feet.
"Really?" Pearl asked, trying to sound pissed but couldn't help but smile. Pearl grabbed her belonging and started walking with her.
"Well what do you expect me to do?" Emilie asked as they started walking to the car park, "drop my pathetic bag and praise yours, lifting it to the sun gods?"
"Yes!" Pearl insisted.
"Well fuck the sun gods, they always give me sun burns," she complained.
"Even though you're basically Voldemort's daughter," Pearl smirked.
"Don't say my fathers name," Emilie pretended to be serious.
They reached the car park as they waited for Emilie's mum to pick her up. Pearl always waited with Emilie, even though Pearl always walked home. Unless it was raining or to cold to walk. She just liked waiting with her.
"Do you think fairytales are real?" Pearl asked again, she never shuts up about it.
"For all we know! Peter Pan could be real!" Emilie smirked, as her brother turned up behind her. This gave Emilie a fright, "I told you he teleports!"
Ken and Pearl have never said a word to each other. They haven't even looked at each other in the eye. Ken was known as popular but always got into trouble. She remembers one day when Ken got suspended for two days, all of the tenth grader boys were protesting 'Bring back Ken!'.
"You've told me," Pearl smiled, trying not to laugh.
"Peter Pan isn't real, Emilie," Ken sighed, annoyed.
