She jogged down a steep hill, almost slipping as she reached average ground level. She halted, right next to a redwood tree, pulling out the radio, turning a little knob to enter that man Pike's frequency.
"Hello? Pike? Hello?" Octavia asked repeatedly, awaiting for him to respond. There was a tad bit of static, and some muffled noises, until you heard a huge shifting noise, then finally, a voice.
"Yes! Hello? Is this Octavia I'm speaking to?" It was Pike's voice. Octavia exhaled with relief, glad he was alive. Sure, she didn't know the guy, but she didn't like seeing people dead.
"Yeah..I'm about a few minutes away..I need to know now, is that beast still outside of the bunker you're in?"
"I'm unsure..I heard his roars last night, but they stopped by dawn..I'm coming out."
"No! Stay put." Octavia ordered, holding the transmitter close to her mouth. She took a few breaths, before rolling her eyes, glancing far off to the right. "I'm on my way...Octavia out." She slid the mini antenna back into its slot, sliding the radio into her back pocket, as she broke into a fierce run, jumping past trees, bushes, and some plots of flowers. She had her sword drawn in case of emergencies.
She swooped past a twinned tree, into a clearing, a large field. At the edge of the clearing, there she saw it. The second half of the dropship. it sure changed since the last time she saw it. It was rusted, covered in loam, the bottom half was all broken down, and crusted. It was leaned back against a fern tree, looking quite grim. Octavia thought back to those who disconnected from the hundred, how fearful they were of the Grounders, how they attacked immediately. Octavia stood there in silence, giving those lost lives a moment. But the silence was soon broken, when her radio went off, Pikes voice was heard. "I'm here." Octavia spoke bluntly, shifting her vision left and right, assuring that the beast was nowhere to be seen. After a few moments, she spotted the hole of the bunker, Pike climbing up the ladder and onto ground level. Once he spotted Octavia, he smiled, rushing over to her. He was an African American man, bald, and wide eyed.
"Hey, I'm glad you made it..Did you see anyone on the way here? The Grounders?" Pike asked anxiously, his hands curling up in fear. Octavia shook her head.
"We and the Grounders are on good terms..they wouldn't attack." Octavia assured him.
"Tell that to my dead friends..we got ambushed by them from the trees, they came from nowhere...they took Jaha, as I said before.."
"I know..they probably weren't aware that you are Skaikru."
"Skaikru?" Pike asked confusingly.
"That is what the Grounders and everyone else call us, people from the sky..There is a lot to explain, but for now, We-"
"Octavia.." A voice said from behind. Octavia and Pike both directed their attention towards the source of the noise. It was Wells, along with Some orange haired girl, and Jaha. Octavia's eyes expanded, completely confused.
"Jaha!" Pike said gradually, running forward to hug the man, patting him on the back.
"Pike! It is great to see you my friend!" Jaha responded to the hug, with a smile. The two went on to talk, about who knows what. Octavia stepped in front of Wells.
"What are you doing out? I thought Lexa is keeping you in the slammer at Polis for at least three months, how'd you get out!?"
"Lexa, she gave me a deal. Either I rot in there for those three months, or get the choice to travel to the City Of Light along with the twelve other rebels who agree with me..Trikru are scum."
"The City Of Light? What is that?" Octavia wondered. the orange haired girl, stepped forward.
"A place of no pain, somewhere where everyone is treated equally...May I ask who you are?" The ginger haired girl asked, curiously tilting her head to the far right.
"Claudia, this is Octavia. Octavia, this is Claudia." Wells introduced the two. Claudia gave Octavia a few odd glances
"Sha Gon Hir Yu...Nice to Meet you, Oktavia Kom Skaikru." Claudia held her hand out for a handshake. Octavia shrugged, shaking it gradually.
"Same to you, Claudia...I say, you do look familiar." Octavia wondered.
"she is Lexa's sister, if that helps jog your memory."
"I see...Anyway, what are you guys doing?" Octavia asked, crossing her arms. Pike and Jaha ended their side conversation, as Jaha stepped in between Claudia and Wells.
"We are just doing a few final errands before we set out on our voyage.." Jaha smiled. But something about that smile, Octavia didn't trust. Something about it seemed extremely peculiar, peculiar enough for her to look at him cock eyed.
"May I join you, on these, errands?" She asked, crossing her arms.
"Of course you can, Pike can come along also...we are just transporting the hundred back to the Ark's wreckage, so they can get to safety. The Dropship is about a few miles from here, we should go, now." Jaha then began short steps to the edge of the clearing, leading Wells, Claudia, and Pike behind him. Octavia shrugged, following also. She wondered how Bellamy is, what is going on in the Capitol, what situations he is dealing with. How he is, and if he is alright..
