It was finally day. Bellamy stood there grimly, right aside Ivor, who was crouched down, to his friends corpse, Yardley. Late last night Bellamy had ran into Ivor on his search for Alyson, the two fought off Reapers and took out a pack of them with one bullet.
"I'm sorry about your Friend, Ivor..But we need to keep moving. I heard Reapers return to their caves during the day, we should get out on foot and get to Polis, We'll find help there..help for both you and I." Bellamy had his arms crossed, as he was about to comfort the man by merely patting his shoulder, but Ivor shunned away.
"Very well, I'll come back for Yardley's body...so I can burn him..Down here, we burn our dead." Ivor swiveled right around, and began walking. Bellamy was surprised he knew what direction he was going.
"Have you ever been to Polis? I heard it is suppose to be like a Grounder central for you all...I've been there, it is pretty nice..the tower is so high." Bellamy spoke, attempting to try and make small talk. He didn't feel like having silence among them the whole way there, so he figured he simmer everything down with a few moments of chatting.
"Yes, I use to live there..In fact, I served the previous Commander, the one before Lexa..But as I've told you before, I was thrown out along with my family, for committing treason.." Ivor sighed lowly, as he stared down at the trail him and Bellamy were following, shaking his head. Bellamy felt intrigued over Ivor's story, it would be nice to learn more about him on a good note, considering last time they seen each other, his son got riddled with Bullets by Finn.
"You never told me, what kind of treason did you do to get thrown out of there? It must have been something big.."
"It was nothing big at all, I just got involved with a lot of stuff, The Tide Of Eyes, The Plain Riders..It is all a bunch of something called The Past, lets not worry about that."
"You don't seem that scared to return, so It must not be a big deal...Who are the Tide Of Eyes? I've heard of the Plain-Riders, but not them." Bellamy replied.
"The Tide Of Eyes are the people who refuse to kill, they are the ones who decline a sword, reject bloodshed..I'm friends with their Leader, her name is Luna." Bellamy's eyes remained straight, as wooden oak tree branches hung above him and the pathway, the shadows of the branches joining his, the eerie whistle of the leaves swaying slowly in the wind, it made him crack a smile, thanking life itself for another day on Earth.
"How do you know them?" Bellamy asked. "Is Luna and her clan old friends of yours?"
"Yeah, you can say that...Way back, when I was with The Delphi clan, she was my partner in crime, we were practically best friends..until one day my leader threw I and her out of the tribe, claiming we were weak. We weren't, well, Luna wasn't. After that we kind broke up communications for a while, the only contact we had was when I signal flared her on the Eastern beaches every week, to see her..She is one of the reasons I had received my penalty and had to leave Polis...Enough about me, I forget, what were you doing out here last night?" Ivor directed his vision towards Bellamy. Bellamy cleared his mind, having only one thought remain, and that thought was about Alyson.
"My girlfriend..I and her were strolling through the woods yesterday, when a sudden red gas came out of nowhere..it engulfed her in it, and took her.." Bellamy frowned to himself, but felt Ivor's reassuring hand touch his shoulder.
"It is alright, my friend. I'm sure you'll see her again...It couldn't be acid fog, acid fog is yellow and passes quite rarely...it may be the Mountain who took her. The bringers of capture and death."
"The Mountain?" Bellamy repeated. "Who are the Mo-"
"Quiet!" Ivor placed a hand around Bellamy's mouth, and yanked him over to a nearby bush. The two popped their heads out from behind the bush. "Look.." Ivor pointed towards a large group walking, being lead by two men on horses. It took Bellamy to recognize the group, but he did.
"Ivor, those are my friends! That's the hundred!" Bellamy leaped from the bushes and was about to run over to the group, but Ivor grabbed his arm.
"Wait! You can't! If they see me, they'll kill me! When they banished me from Polis they also put a kill order on me." Ivor warned, drenching back.
"Ivor you said you were banished a while ago, I'm sure they probably have forgotten by now.." Bellamy attempted to assure him that there will be no issues, but Ivor denied every word.
"No, No, No! We can trail behind them, and remain hidden in the bushes, but we can't go up to them and make contact."
"Fine, We'll follow them..Their going to Polis anyways...come on." Bellamy ducked to another treeline and Ivor followed. Bellamy knew exactly why the hundred were being brought to the Capitol. Clarke and Lexa want their little army for the war. Bellamy couldn't believe it was coming so soon, so quick. He noticed a few people in the crowd, counting Raven, Eugene, and Murphy. He spotted someone else, Pike. Bellamy's eyes went wide. What the hell was he doing here!? He shook the thought off, realizing it wasn't that important, what is more important, is if Octavia is in this crowd. Bellamy waited for a section to pass so he could scan it more thoroughly. He found her. Her hair was braided up, she had a sword tucked into a holder on her back, and her clothes were all torn and ripped. She looks like a Grounder. Bellamy continued to stare, comparing her to the little girl who hid under the floors more then half her life. he couldn't believe the development. Earth can truly change the slightest person.
