The march continued. It was night time, the sun finally set. Clarke and Lexa led the march through the gorgeous night woods. They couldn't find any wandering Reapers, so they had to drop that idea. In some areas, plots of snow were seen. At one point, Clarke remembered stepping on snow. The feeling of it crunching under her shoes meant so much to her, so relaxing it felt, so alluring, it felt as if there wasn't a care in the world. When she explained these feelings to lexa, Lexa was confused as ever. probably because she is use to the crystal white snow.

"It's so beautiful." Clarke commented on the whimsical night woods. Lexa glanced back at Clarke, serious faced. Her docile flat grin soon transitioned to a smile.

"I agree..a perfect night for war," Lexa murmured. Clarke was pessimistic about this, the war was odd to hold at night. It would be difficult to withhold, it would be to dark. Clarke skeptically tapped Lexa's shoulder, clearing her throat.

"I have a request.." Clarke mumbled. She was surprised none of the surrounding Grounders drew a weapon once she laid a finger on Lexa's frail shoulder. Could it possibly finally be trust? Who knows.

"Yes Clarke?"

"Instead of attacking tonight, why don't we wait until dawn? They'll all be sleeping still, it'll give us a chance to rest up."

"We can't, there is nowhere to camp. We are in their territory, we need to attack imm--wait, do you hear that?" Lexa stopped walking, and rose her right hand, the whole army behind her stopped. If you listened closely, you could hear the faint sound of drums. The sounds were getting louder, louder, and louder. "War drums." Lexa said lowly. Suddenly, a large Ax head zipped from across the right treeline, striking Clarke's personal guard, Osiris, in the head. His blood splattered onto Clarke. Lexa quickly slid her sword out, and so did everyone in the army behind her. Down from the trees they came, one landed behind Clarke, and almost killed her by swinging his large Ax, missing her head by an inch. Lexa then stuck the sword right through the mans stomach, using her other hand to slice his neck with a blade.

One almost then clonked Lexa across the forehead with a rock, But Clarke shot him in the chest. The attack was happening, the War is beginning. Men on Horses ran forward, shooting Arrows. One got Karlina in the right shoulder. She fell to the ground, howling in pain. Soldiers ran up from the back of the line, and threw some of the RGD-5 Grenades, that Raven made for them. Ka-boom! The four Ice Nation warriors got consumed by a huge explosion occurring just straight ahead. Karlina hitched back upon her feet, and ran forward, swinging swords, killing Ice Nation warriors. Until one lucky Ice Nation Soldier, slit her throat, and kicked her lifeless body forward. Olivia ran from the center of the crowds of Trikru warriors, screaming in horror, an Ice Nation warrior almost chopped her arm off, but luckily a Grounder speared him, saving her life.

"Lexa! We need to get to higher ground! Their secret weapon are the trees!" Clarke screamed, explosions going off all around them, arrows whizzing by their heads, bodies falling lifelessly to the ground, it was absolute pure horror. Lexa grabbed Clarke's hand, and dragged her all the way to the side of the battlefield. No one saw them when they disappeared into the patch of woods. "Wait-We can't just abandon them!" Clarke protested. Lexa eyed her skeptically.

"We are not, we are using these." Lexa grabbed Clarke's backpack, and pulled out a metallic square-like box, which could fit in the palms of Lexa's hands. Clarke smiled.

"proximity Mines...Raven made them. We could set them up around the perimeter, and if any Ice Nation soldier steps past it.."

"Boom." Lexa added, handing the few to Clarke. In the background you could hear the faint sound of Grenades going off, and arrows zipping past treelines, Clarke and Lexa were lucky no one spotted them disappear into the woods. Clarke turned the knob on the proximity mine, and placed it up against a patch of what look like snow, on the side of a oak tree. The two heroic females ran all throughout the woods that night, placing their secret weapons on the side of rocks, under trees, over creaks, and even hidden in some snow, while their Army fends off against Ice Nation warriors through their territorial forest. War has just began. If they can hold this off longer, the Ice Nation soldiers may retreat. If not, Trikru will die Warriors, and so will the Sky people. Jus Drein Jus Daun.
